Depends on how they were selected. Not to describe your group, but if I picked players from, say, a mental illness support group, having a high percentage of people with mental health issues would not be significant.

Start the investigation with the engineering crew, top to bottom. If suspected - detain. If not, enlist their help in causing a delay of ship reaching port. That's not a detainment of passengers, just a mechaincal error. See who gets edgy with the delayed landing. Question them.
