1d20 does not give a bell curve. Bounded Accuracy makes this worse by decreasing modifiers to this roll. D&D 5th is too much about how well do your dice roll and less about how well did you build and play your character. The index is terrible. Skills should be required, not optional.

Are you suggesting that if you target all your missiles at one target you should be able to roll damage for each missile, but if you target missiles at multiple targets then you have to use one damage roll? This seems like an unnecessary complication but it would be an even more literal reading...

We are a store. I buy hundreds (maybe more) of D&D HC's a year. For myself, I buy some adventures and all non-adventures.

All but the Druid, who might have prepared any of scores of spells that day, and the Warlock, whose player seems to think that leveling up requires rebuilding, and not merely permits it in my game. The Fighter and the Rogue I understand.

We are still waiting on a treatment for Osse (oversized FR "Australia"), Katashaka (FR "South America"), Anchorome (FR "North America") (although small parts of each were sort of covered in Maztica, the "Central America" analog), and Laerakon (which was "visiting" Toril during 4th ed).

How about a more caster friendly option? What if, when the caster picks a square occupied by an invisible creature their DM says "That square is not a valid target for this spell" and the caster can simply pick another square.

Are we voting for/against the games based on the games themselves, or are we voting for/against the Kickstarters themselves based on our opinions of the company, project handling, delivery time, shipping costs, etc?

Build them differently. If the PC fighter is a DEX fighter, add a STR Warrior, maybe sword&board, or great weapon. If the PC Warrior is a STR fighter, add a DEX Warrior, maybe an archer. Then they are not doing the same thing. Fighter, Ranger, Paladin, and Monk can all be flavors of Warrior...

I DM. I added in a free Feat, but at L6, not at L1, because I was tired of PC's not taking their ASI's as ASI's, being underoptimized, and then blaming me when fights were too tough. At L1 all I gave them was an extra Tool (or Language) Proficiency.

Goggles over your eyes = advantages on saves vs blindness. Goggles on your forehead = advantage on Persuasion checks (1/long rest), because you are just so cool. But apparently I said this last year, so never mind.

Never mind, I was wrong for "Shield" because it is triggered by being hit not by being attacked. Similarly I was also wrong for "Silvery Barbs" because it is triggered by a success and not by an attempt. Sorry.

The DM gets to pick any corner. The example DM has picked a corner that will give +5 AC. Another DM, or the same DM in another circumstance, could chose to pick a different corner. Also, it's really a cube, not a square, so you may be able to shoot over party members heads, thus negating cover...

The DM should only say "hits your AC of 15" in a party where no one can change it. In a party with "Shield" or "Silvery Barbs" the DM should instead say "Y is attacking Player Z. They have an X on the d20. Do you have any Reaction to that attack?" It is up to the players to guess Y's bonus to...

Does "see" mean "see in person"? If not than Vecna can cancel spells anywhere in the Multiverse, as long as he's Scrying on the caster at the time. Player "Why did my spell fail for no reason?" DM "Good question...."
