    At-will flight is a gamebreaker.

We're not talking about D&D anymore are we?

    The Misalignment of the Gods

I think you'll find they're impersonating me. But I'm sincerely flattered.

Do people enjoy reading campaign blogs?

There's a difference between a writing team working from the same story outline and a bunch of gamers making up a story as they go along. However there's probably not much difference between said writing team and a poor DM railroading his players to fit his plot.

    The Misalignment of the Gods

Alignment discussions will always lead to conflict mostly because people can no longer agree on what 'good' and 'evil' mean - witness the strong right/left political divide. We have: Rights vs responsibilites The good of the individual vs the good of society Freedom vs security Change vs...

Do people enjoy reading campaign blogs?

Disregard my last; I found his website. He's interesting but for an aspiring professional writer he has a poor command of spelling and grammar.

Do people enjoy reading campaign blogs?

Me too. I definitely want to read about what happened, both in-game and at the table. I have no desire to read a novelisation of someone's game, and let's face it, a story written by 5+ people (even if all the actual writing is done by only one) is going to suck as a novel.

Cleric and Paladin - What's the Difference?

This doesn't account for classless NPC priests or the clerics' myriad combat abilities.

Cleric and Paladin - What's the Difference?

In the 3e version of my homebrew Paladins were the servants of the only good (but dead) deity in my cosmology. But I'm trying to embrace the 4e implied setting.

Cleric and Paladin - What's the Difference?

I'm starting to lean this way to be honest. The difference between a cleric and a paladin is likely the same as the difference between any two clerics or between any two paladins.

Cleric and Paladin - What's the Difference?

I'm talking from an in-game point of view here - what's the difference between these two classes? They both seem to be independent holy warriors of the various deities. Is there any difference between what these two classes actually do in the world? Your thoughts...?

    Gencon OZ... anyone going?

Little-known fact (one I learnt just a couple of days ago actually) - Townsville is named after its founder Robert Towns. Here I was thinking it was just a place named by unimaginative bogans. You mean the ones who bought their backpacks or the ones who had them issued?

I'm a huge fan of immersive RPing. How about you?

It amazes me that we're still left with "Immersive RP" vs Hack-and-slash" as the only two options in many peoples' minds. This after the work of Robin Laws, which has been reproduced in the 4e DMG. Not to mention those 'What kind of gamer are you?' web-polls that were all the rage back about 5...

Racially diverse artwork in D&D...does it influence you?

Clearly there's a lot of mistrust in the world.

Worldbuilding - One of the joys of GM/DMing?

I stand corrected. Clearly, Wyrmshadows' discipplayers learnt long ago not to disagree with him.

Townsville would've been heaps better. Less Queenslanders for a start...
