    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Ghorrak gritted his teeth and did his best to ignore the Tomb Guardian's flailing and attempted to keep moving it toward the crossroads. Not sure if you'll want me to roll to maintain the grapple, or how you interpret making multiple attempts as part of the same attack action, but I rolled two...

    (OOC) Fitz's Folly (ToA PBP)

As much as I feel like I should vote 1, I'm going to have to go for 2. Figuring the hallway out and combat seems like it will take....too long.

What should I run next? (5e PBP)

Spelljammer seems pretty rad, and I'm too young to have gotten to experience it. Most people my age don't seem to care about AD&D settings unless they started playing in middle school and caught the tail end of it. But on the other hand my rule of thumb is to do whatever takes the least prep work.

    (OOC) Fitz's Folly (ToA PBP)

I don't bother with it, except for one game I ran with some 3.Pbeards who refused to accept that the game had moved on and it was just easier to placate them than argue with them constantly. But ime it is used commonly enough that I usually ask about it.

    (OOC) Fitz's Folly (ToA PBP)

I've got a few questions and my reasoning for moving to catch the TG at the mouth of the hallway instead of at the crossroads, which may have been a mistake based on the answers. 1. The Tomb Guardians are immune to attacks with non magical weapons, right? 2. I know the hallways narrows but does...

The Savage Sea (5E) [3-5 level 4 *OOC*]

I've added backstory and more explicitly answered the questions in addition.

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Ghorrak growled in frustration. He knew he couldn't hurt the tomb guardian but was in the way of the people who could. He moved out onto the balcony and braced himself to grab the Tomb Guardian. This would also help him see if the size change was an illusion. Moving to AC 11, readying an...

Sorry, I'd been waiting to be told to post in the rogue's gallery and somehow missed that I had already been told to

The Savage Sea (5E) [3-5 level 4 *OOC*]

    I didn't know rolling was an option, let's see how I can do. Well, I'd obviously prefer these _: 4D6.HIGH(3) = [6, 3, 6, 5] = 17 4D6.HIGH(3) = [6, 4, 1, 2] = 12 4D6.HIGH(3) = [4, 4, 6, 4] = 14 4D6.HIGH(3) = [5, 6, 5, 3] = 16 4D6.HIGH(3) = [1, 4, 2, 3] = 9 4D6.HIGH(3) = [4, 1, 5, 6] = 15

    D&D 5E (2014) Toxicity in the Fandom

Based on those two examples I don't seem capable of reading his work without my eyes rolling into the back of my head, so I'd probably give it a miss. I'm not really interested in Battletech, and I've had a pretty firm policy of ignoring people who insist there's a left wing attack on America...

D&D General "When I DM, I Try to Make Sure to Lay Eyes on Every Roll My Players Make to Confirm It" (a poll)

I've been in groups where it was necessary to keep people from cheating, but for the past few years if I'm watching a roll it's because that player is slow and I can figure out the result faster than them.

The Savage Sea (5E) [3-5 level 4 *OOC*]

Well now its my turn to apologize for being unclear, I picked the kobold barbarian and posted his rough backstory earlier. Here's the very nearly completed character sheet, just need to finalize languages.

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Ghorrak sighed, adding this hallway to his list of reasons to dislike magic users, then walked back and tried the west hallway to see if it was any different.

    D&D 5E (2014) Toxicity in the Fandom

I won't pretend that progressive spaces are free of unpleasant people, I've met plenty of people who do try to disguise being jerks like you're talking about. But those people are just jerks, their opposites are a lot worse

    D&D 5E (2014) Addicted to multiclassing

Excluding a series of one shots where I intentionally played a goofy character with only 1 level in several classes, I pretty rarely multiclass. Usually because someone leaves the game and we need someone to fill that character's role.

    D&D 5E (2014) Toxicity in the Fandom

Surely the people who are abusive or racist or sexist or whichever 'ist is appropriate are worse?

D&D General If not death, then what?

The only times I've played in games where death was completely off the table we didn't replace it with anything, every time it's happened has been because one or more players get really...squirrelly about it and basically force the game to adopt that style. Those players are usually only...

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Ghorrak nodded, marking the walls was a good idea. He patted himself down and then held his hands up, hoping to signal that he had no way of marking the walls. Using rope or string could also work, so he mimed using a lasso then tying it around himself. Then he looked around for any clues for...

    D&D 5E (2014) Toxicity in the Fandom

You're actually confusing trolling with trawling here. Both are fishing terms, and to my eye the one that uses bait resembles the internet usage more than the one with nets.
