I'm coming up with a way for a city of gnomes who have interlocked 4 giant turtle shells (think oval shaped but about 3 square miles each) and turned them into a nomadic city. How can I get it to move? I'd like a spell that could be controlled from a tower point that utilizes a touch sensor orb.

My group is playing in a heavily modifier version of the Sunless Citadel (and this is the 2nd time I've dmed it) and they are loving it. A group that is comprised of almost the same player base will be playing KotSF so I can't wait to experience first hand which is better.

The campaign I'm running right now only consists of Humans but depending on what happens with this campaign all the phb races will be available, as well as kobolds, minotaurs and maybe a couple of other races depending on the roleplaying of the current group of humans on this New World.
