Well, since apparently the Prophecies of the Dragon adventures start at the end of book 2, I won't be starting the game with it, although I think I will run the adventure from the back of the book to start, so don't read it! Or at least forget what you read! ;)

I was in Pentagon City Friday, and they didn't have anything on sale. I'm willing to bet they're still open.

Well, in Dark Sun canon, they were originally the product of magical experiments of crossing humans with giants, but they were a viable race, so now they just reproduce natrually.

The Burnt Sands of Athas has a Half-Giant race, but they are still trying to work out the HD and ECL for it.

Well, the WotC store I went to, didn't have any RPG stuff on sale. Of course, there is another one relatively close by that does, so I'm thinking that the one with all of the stuff on sale may be going out of business or consolidating with the one that didn't have anything on sale.

Well, considering that the front page of this site says that WotC is going to be putting out a rulebook for it, I'm going to say no. Also, WotC has not been "completely absorbed" into Hasbro. So, that site is blowing smoke.

Well, I actually liked L5R classic because of the system behind it. I liked the raises and such. I actually prefer that system to D&D, in appropriate settings, like L5R and 7th Sea.

Well, I'm not sure if the rules for the actual martial arts skill is different, but Exalted is more based around the powers that augment skills. So, you might need 3 dots of Martial Arts to get a power, but that power would let you apply your full dice pool to each dodge attempt, or something...
