Flanking is weapon with two edges - you can use it against oponents, but they can use it againts you (your party). And some manouvers (don't know which) can get opponents from your companions in danger, and/or get them near to paladin with spell slots for smite :D get advantage isn't so hard, as...
I think that battlemaster is king when you play with flanking. There are manouvers which are giving more sense with that. And give him real power on battlefield and tactics.
I've been played next to Mistermind and it was great. One of his "help on distant" completely change a heavy fight with a boss to an easy battle. Well, co-played group knows what others do and can do, so using help isn't a wasted much time.
Now it's a question if it's better to lose your bonus action for advantage instead of a third attack from PAM feat. But it gives me an opportunity to exchange this feat for +2 to CHA. But it needs 3 lvls in Rogue. And it's still for first next attack no for all.
today morning I'v got surprise efect - get enemy prone. Barbarian can easily do it. If I do trade of spirit shroud spell to common hex and give hex on str checks, then barbarian can do it with advantage and target with disadvantage.
