What type of product would you most like to see from Wizards of the Coast?

You might want to tright Forbidden Kingdoms or Iron Kingdoms settings. Although Forbidden Kingdoms is more Pulp than steampunk, it can be suited for that kind of style. Forbidden Kingdoms has a preview at Otherworld Creations and Iron Kingdoms has its own website of the same name.

OT: X-Men 2 and The Hulk Trailer (Mild spoilers)

The problem with showing these FX in movies is that each FX costs and they're working on a budget.

OT: X-Men 2 and The Hulk Trailer (Mild spoilers)

Actually they did show Gambit's name but it was really quick. I believe it was when Mystique was going through Stryker's computers on the list of targeted mutants.

    DnD on TV

I doubt there'd be any DnD based TV series. It still has quite a bit of notoriety as being Satanic, as far as I know. Even despite things like Zena and Hercules and Roar.

OT: X-Men 2 and The Hulk Trailer (Mild spoilers)

Well the only thing about him that made him specials was that he had wings and could fly. :D

Huh? Oh, sorry about that. Thanks! :)

OT: X-Men 2 and The Hulk Trailer (Mild spoilers)

I thouroughly enjoyed the X-Men 2 movie and firmly believe that it surpassed the first one. I firmly believe that number 3 will feature The Phoenix. The clues were in there. The destruction of the dam is the biggest clue. The only person who's powerful enough to do that is Magneto. And he didn't...

    Seeking one-shot plot ideas

An evil cleric is going around stealing souls. Those souls are being stored in a specially crafted gem and used to make him more powerful. The gem's effects on casting are akin to metamagic feats without the increased spell slots.

Blind Kobold takes out 20th level Sorcerer!!!!

You think that's bad, here's some of the worst I've done: When the original critical hit charts came out in Dragon magazine, we were experimenting around with them. I was running a fighter, and I ended up killing half of the entire party of 7 adventurerers on the fumble charts. Two of them by...

    DnD on TV

If you haven't seen them, many of the Marines recruiting commercials these days have something of a D&D theme about them.

    Superstitions Have power?

In your settings, do you have superstitions (such as breaking a mirror will bring 7 years of bad luck)? Do they have a real effect (such as say giving a luck roll on all rolls for one day for finding the proper coin)? Or are they just flavor to give your people a sense of realism? What...

If A Rogue Has The Ability To Use Any Magic Item...

There was one 2e Cleric character that I've enjoyed playing. He was a Gnome whose primary weapons were cestuses and a chakram. He made it to 5th level before the campaign fizzled and the gm moved away for a better job. He did something for his temple and risked his life for it fighting a...

    The Holy Avenger? 2 Questions.

Does it come from the order the Paladin serves or is it a gift from his deity? Have you ever had a Holy Avenger as anything other than a sword?

If A Rogue Has The Ability To Use Any Magic Item...

Never assume anything too quickly about people. That only causes trouble. Especially for the wrongly self-righteous. It's too easy to assume things too quickly, especially when one doens't know anything at all about a poster. It's way too easy to make that assumption with many posts as well.

If A Rogue Has The Ability To Use Any Magic Item...

Actually in 3e not much. In 1e and 2e, some. However, even then we usually had to end up fighting the ones that ran anyway.

If A Rogue Has The Ability To Use Any Magic Item...

I have no intention of trolling with this post. Everybody has their class preferences, and the Cleric isn't one of mine, for the reason's I've stated before. My favorites are fighters/sorcerers/psions.

If A Rogue Has The Ability To Use Any Magic Item...

As I've said, I've never seen a real use for Clerics except for their healing abilities. For 1e, 2e, and even 3e.

    Help: Ultimate Sailing Rules?

There's an old game out there called "Wooden Ships And Iron Men" that seems to have a reasonable set of maneuvering rules that can be adapted to a d20 setting. It's a strategy/wargame.

If A Rogue Has The Ability To Use Any Magic Item...

Then in one sense that person can become among the most important characters in the entire group. Why? Because they can replace some of the character classes in there. For example: take the Cleric. There's only one real reason to have a Cleric in there, and that's for their healing abilities. I...

Unconcventional Uses For The Stronghold Builder's Guidebook

One of the things I like about the d20 system is that it's a universal system, which means that if one's so inclined to they can mix and match d20 games. For example, you could have an X-Wing fighter firing on a Terrascue or have your superhero character from Mutants & Masterminds could go...
