Other: I bought my 4e core books through my FLGS. I don't intend to buy more 4e books.

I think it's meant more to point out the inherent creativity than the level of detail. Looking at both from a birds eye view, one is conceptually much more interesting than the other.

It was a gift, back around 1982, I can't remember if it was for my birthday or Christmas. I had previously been looking through my best friend's AD&D stuff. I remember it was the equipment lists that fired my imagination. Thieves' Tools!! I loved playing thieves!! :D
