PirateCat, Put me down for running a Hollow Earth Expedition game in the afternoon. 6 Players, description forthcoming, but it will surely involve pirates, dinosaurs, and nazis. :D

We're not going to be able to swing the DC game day as planned (not with GenCon and Disney this year), so we'll be there. :) PirateCat, please sign me up for that morning slot in your game. I'll also run something as well, but TBD at this point.

Am I missing something*, or does Dungeon Online give no clue at all to the appropriate level range of the adventures? I don't want to download a 10 or 20 MB pdf file to see if an adventure is a good fit for me. What's up? *Disclaimer: I might be missing something.

My own experience: I ran a one-shot with Bo9Swords characters and the most consistant comment I heard both times I ran it was: "I'd love to regularly play with that system". YMMV, of course.

Based on reading only: I thought the third adventure was pretty good, but the first two were weak. In general I'm not a fan of Necromancer adventures, though, so YMMV. (Except for City of Brass, that's the bomb! :D)

WotC aren't going to tell you about initiative because initiative is boring. Nobody's going to be jazzed about the new (?) initiative rules, and they don't want to release anything that's not going to excite people about the new game. Why won't they tell us how many pages the Table of Contents...

Hi Flynn, I play in 2 campaigns, and I've been in them for about a year. I think it's perfectly viable for long term campaigns, but not in the traditional d&d meaning that implies a decade's long stretch. There's a definate end to the advancement, and I think you'd reach that after say 2-3 years.

Is War of the Burning Sky going to be released as some sort of compilation when it's done? It sounds like something I would enjoy, but I haven't really been keeping up with it.
