Tactics for destroying armor & weapons

    1. Sunder is the obvious choice - simply breaking things is nasty. If the NPC has an admantine weapon its even easier (but beware as the players will probably end up with said admantine weapon after the battle). The first time I hit my players with a sunder specialist with an admantine heavy...

Arcane / Divine parallel progression for more than 10 levels?

http://www.wizards.com/d20/files/v35/EpicPrestigeClasses.rtf That's straight from the SRD. You don't really get a lot of benefits from improving as an epic theurge as opposed to improving your cleric and wizard levels. I'd actually argue that you're actually hurting yourself - the theurge gets...

Arcane / Divine parallel progression for more than 10 levels?

If I recall correctly, the epic progression for mystic theurge (levels 11+ in the class) alternates between arcane and divine level progression. Given that, I'd definitely say that I'd disallow additional levels to continue to improve both caster progressions, which kind of makes it a moot point...

Figher/Cleric PrC or other build ideas...

Maybe the battlesmith from RoS. Its not really a fighter/cleric PrC, but I think it could fit with your theme. It would complement the smithing aspects of the character, cover the crafting of magic arms and armor, and up the armor AC too, however they get bonuses with hammers if I recall, which...

    Lazy adventurer?

A rather amusing thought is finding some means of regularly flying, so he doesn't have to walk. Just imagine the character hovering a few inches above the ground, all four legs hanging limply down towards the ground, as he moves about. You wouldn't need the horseshoes with something like this...

    Half-Trolls and Half-Goblins?

There's a half-troll template in one of the WOTC books. I want to say its either MM2 or FF. There's also a thoul (which is a hobgoblin/troll/ghoul mix) in one of the Blackmoor books that I've run across too.

    Blink Dog as mount

Yeah, it leaves the rider behind. If you want the rider to go along, you might create some sort of magical saddle which allows the rider to blink with the dog.

    Build: I Got Peeps!

I'd strongly advocate forgoing the familiar in favor of the conjurer variant from UA as well. If you truly still want a familiar, spend a feat to get one (there's a feat that allows this in Complete Arcane if I recall). The standard action casting time for summoning spells instead of the normal...

Need help deciding what to play...

Well... if you're looking for a full arcane caster with some style or focus, you might consider some sort of specialist wizard. Unfortunately the two books which help a specialist wizard the most are Complete Mage (there's an option that lets you ban another school and get more spells per day...

Need help deciding what to play...

I think I'd also advocate a bard or some sort as well. A general support character would probably bolster the group the most. One other area the group might be weak on is skills. I'd make the character human and take the able learner feat from Races of Destiny, that way you'd also be able to...

    Dwarven Monk, Dwarven Defender

Well, if you can get him to allow the Roll With It feat from Savage Species, the best route for uber-DR is to go straight dwarven fighter/dwarven defender. Assuming you manage a CON of 20 (18 +2 for being dwarf) at first level: 1: Fighter Toughness (Roll With It pre-req) 2 flaws...

    Dwarven Monk, Dwarven Defender

I'd tend to concur that monk and dwarven defender is an... odd mix. The abilities don't complement one another very well, even with the variant. By core... are you referring to the PHB, MM, and DMG or just WOTC books in general? If its WOTC books in general, you want the Roll With It feat from...

Ignoring DR with an unarmed attack

I believe there was a feat in the Draconomicon which reduced an opponent's DR by 5 for your attacks. The name is escaping me right now though.

    Best Tank build

I'd go with a dwarven fighter and aim for dwarven defender. To me, when playing a tank HP and AC are the most important things. The dwarven fighter by its very nature has a disgustingly high Fort save. Most reflex saves are only hp damage, which should be one of your fortes, so you can usually...

    Cure Minor Wounds 1/Minute

Honestly, I'd just let them buy a wand of lesser vigor. One of the most cost-effective magic items for healing. 50 charge item for 750 gp. Each spell restores 1 hp/round for 11 rounds. Only 1.636 gp per hp healed.

How to counteract a Disintegrate-happy PC?

One tactic I don't see mentioned very often is counterspelling. Often one of the most effective things an enemy spellcaster can do is to simply deny the players the ability to get their own spells off. This can have incredible repercussions when the PC's crowd control spells are countered or...

    A good wizard/fighter build?

I haven't seen the runecaster (RoS) mentioned. It provides a way to ignore the arcane spell failure problems. You've got to be a dwarf though.

    UA: Your favorite variant?

The rules that I usually use the most are the flaws and specialist wizard variants.

Level 12, All books are fair game. Now, what should I be? [Updated, still need help!]

Well... if you take 12 levels of fighter, you still get 7 fighter feats to play with. I realize that you're after some divine levels as well though, so maybe 8 levels of fighter (5 fighter feats) and 4 other levels (cleric or something else) might work. I've done a few variations on this build...

Level 12, All books are fair game. Now, what should I be? [Updated, still need help!]

So, I'll pose another thought to you for a tank twist. I'm assuming that given all the wackiness you've mentioned that flaws (from UA) are acceptable. Play a dwarf. Put the 20 in CON. Take 2 flaws at 1st level. Feats: 1: Toughness (stupid prerequisites, see if your DM will let you sub in...
