Sister Jacqueline from "The Flying Nun," of course!
But my favorite credit of hers is:
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) (VG) (voice) .... Pedestrian
She's still workin'! I guess Tucker Inn didn't quite set her up for retirement.
Actually, it's a customer in a (what else?) Chinese-run laundry who is snarky. The man (played by Brian Tochi of Razzmatazz "fame") does the whole "ancient Chinese secret" thing. The wife blows the lid off the entire scam with her cheerful, "We need more Calgon!" And then the customer is...
OK, Buzz, you still haven't added me for Breakfast. :(
Careful, or I'll run Synnibarr! :]
:p
I know, I know, signing up for breakfast doesn't really matter. But it's a more entertaining way to bump the thread.....
Does anyone know what the rules/laws are about restaurants providing nutritional information in the U.S.? I thought there a law requiring restaurants to give nutritional information upon request. Was I just hallucinating? ;)
How is reading a large book chapter by chapter any different from reading several smaller books? (Except for the muscle ache as you hold the larger tome, of course!)
Night of the Comet
Eating Raoul
(both start Robert Beltran, who is more well known for playing Chakotay on Star Trek: Voyager)
Rock 'n' Roll High School (technically 1979)
Scanners
And a couple of movies I saw at a drive-in in 1981 or so:
Eager Beavers (I looked it up on the IMDB. It came...
Sending your children off to school is, apparently, much more common in Great Britain than here in the U.S. Just a cultural difference that (1) doesn't let characters run to Mum and Dad every time something goes wrong, and (2) gets Harry away from the Dursleys.
As for letting House Slytherin...
Thanks for all the input.
We're starting up the Star Wars campaign on Thursday, and I have finally decided to play a Rodian Fringer.
The game is set a few years after "Return of the Jedi"--we've got a human solider and a Twilek Soundrel/Noble. A fourth player may join after a few sessions; he...
They are. A lot of banning is at a very localized level. For example, a school board decides to pull a book from all school libraries in their district. So the book is banned (in those schools), but not nation-wide.
Here's some ideas, but don't be constrained. Just my quick thoughts:
I have a human druid in LG that doesn't have a figure yet. He's Suel with gray eyes and blonde hair. I use a rakshasa D&D mini for him.
I am starting a Star Wars game on Thursday, and I don't even have a character concept...
Sure! If The_Universe doesn't want them, they're yours!
For you, Mark, the cost is a painted mini. Your choice of mini and paint job--but since I totally suck at painting, I'm raising the cost for you! :p
My brother ran a solo campaign for me way back when (1981, I think). One of the few things I remember was a town filled with undead. The iron gates were locked. Call Lightning, while safely outside the gate, earned my PC a lot of xp for very little risk--as well as angry stares from my brother.
I've got all four Mongoose books (Seas of Blood, Ships of the Elves, Ships of the Goblinoids, and Ships of War) if you want them. I've never used them, so you can have them for, uh, well, buy me a drink at GenCon next year and they're yours now.
Then I'd better hurry up and finish watching season 5 so I can start on season 6. I think I know what I'm doing all weekend long (I've got about 18 episode left to watch of season 5).
