Wow.
Haven't read it yet, just skimmed through, but oh man, a brand new Planescape adventure, 152 pages long, with good artwork, for d20.....
Makes me want to run a Planescape campaign again.
Thanks!
Actually, not really. The adventures are definitely not spectacular in that sense, IMO. Each has some cool idea, but in some of the "coolness" is summed in: "You know how zombies are always weak and slow? Hey, let's make them stronger and faster".
The adventures are not bad, they just don't...
I was referring to the dubious claims of too many people claiming to have an IQ of 180...
I am an extremely smart person. I have an excellent problem solving proficiency and very wide knowledge. I attended a special class for very talented students in high school, and have a BSC and in my MSC...
I really feel blessed being in the company of such incredible individuals as some of the posters on this thread. I've got only one thing to say to all those people that said they have an INT of 18 because they just divided their IQ in 10 and that is: "How are you doing, Mr. Hawking?". (That's a...
I'd like to second Tales from the Infinte Staircase. It's an excellent adventure and one of my favorites. The players can choose which door they'll pass next, and those choices have great impact on the flow of the adventure.
I'd also like to mention Ptolus. It's such a detailed city the players...
AFAIK, Ptolus is out of print, so you'll either have to hunt it down, or buy the pdf.
When it won the Ennies, I hoped they would reprint it and put out some more stuff, but no such luck.
I think the method you use in previous polls is better. The method you are using now distorts the results, see for example the low count for tfiendish codex I. While it got very high percentage in recent polls, probably less people are familiar with it than with spell compendium, for example.
Ptolus is a deluxe campaign setting describing a single city. But what a city! There are virtually infinite dungeons beneath the streets, the greatest evils in the worlds reside within the walls of the city, as well as the greatest good.
It is amazingly detailed, but not dull. I challenged my...
Planescape is by far my favorite setting, TSR or no TSR, and the one I've run most campaigns in.
Birthright and Greyhawk are both cool.
I really like the concept of Draksun, but it is poorly done.
I have run a Grimm mini-campaign and I strongly recommend you do NOT use Grimm for children.
As you said it is VERY grim, and part of the fun playing kids is that you're a grownup playing kids. When you're a kid you don't want to play a kid, you want to play a grownup superhero. Also, the...
