    What alignment is House?

House personality is not well captured in an alignment system. He's arrogant, yes. Still, he cares about some of his patients and he take care of his team even. However, he doesn't like to show his feelings and thus he uses his a*hole mask to protect his own vulnerability.

    Favourite D&D Adventure?

Mine would be T1-The Village of Homlet and I-6 Ravenloft. I still have a soft spot for G1-3, but it is not up to the quality of those two.

Should WoTC Bring back Classic D&D?

As sad as it is, I couldn't agree more. I think their strategy is to replace the basic line with the miniatures line. As far as WotC is concerned, miniatures are more lucrative, which really justify their decision.

    Civilization 4 Expansion disc: thoughts?

My driver is version 8.241.0.0 from March, 21th. I already downgraded image quality to medium, which helped a lot but not enough to prevent the problems. My video card has 256 MB of memory and the computer have 1 GB. Still, I believe Civ 4 is leaking and consuming all the memory available.

Do you use Npc classes for your Npcs?

All the nobles in my games has at least one level of Aristocrat, so I would say yes.

    Too Many Books. . .?

There is a potential problem with WotC releasing as many new rules books as they can but I am in no condition to evaluate if it is real as I quit buying new rules books with 3.5. If the new books allow characters more powerful than core and earlier supplements then it will cause many people to...

    Civilization 4 Expansion disc: thoughts?

My video card is based in an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro, which is not that old. Still, I'm having all sort of troubles with a few games. Civ is perhaps the greatest offender, because, unlike the others, I really like it. Next time, I'll go with a nVidea card.

    Civilization 4 Expansion disc: thoughts?

Great! I really liked Civ 4, even after skipping Civ 3, which I still think to be inferior to Civ 2. However, even after the latest upgrade Civ 4 is still very buggy. I don't remember playing a single game to the end without crashing. Perhaps they should concentrate in improving their product...

Should WoTC Bring back Classic D&D?

I would love such product but I would never release it if the decision was mine to make. First of all, there is no sense in creating a second line without synergy with the main product. However, I would examine the old basic sales and perhaps discuss the possibility of releasing a new basic line...

Anyone ever play a dumb sorcerer?

During the first time I played AD&D Oriental Adventures I was able to generate a Wu-Jen with a Int score of 9, despite the fact I rolled it with the Unearthed Arcana method. It was a such rare event that I had to play it. It was very funny, especially because I played him stupid, as his Int...

    Are you a Grognard?

I'm definitely a grognard. Although I've never played miniatures (even in RPGs) and started with the Molday's basic D&D box, my first love always was board wargames. I have a few of them myself and, although I still play them from time to time, I wish I could do it more.

In Addition To RPGs, Do You Play Wargames (Including Tactical Miniatures Games)?

Yes I do but it is hard to find other players. Still, I don't play miniatures, only boardwargames.

Do You Prefer to Play One of the Four Primary Base Classes (Clr, Ftr, Rog, Wiz)?

I tend to play rangers or wizards. From time to time I would play a rogue or rarely a bard.

Warhammer RPG campaign starting--what to buy?

Quite frankly, the main book is complete enough to run any kind of adventure, specially a published one. Regarding the supplements, I've seem the Old World Bestiary and it's really a great book. About half of it describe the critters in terms of folklore and academic knowledge, the stats and...

    Energy Weapons VS Ballistic Weapons

Ballistic weapons should be the main arsenal of any realistic futuristic setting. In order to energy hand weapons replace their ballistic counterparts you will have to introduce a powerful portable energy generator or battery. I'm not sure if this will be ever possible, especially because it...

    August 2006 Releases

I am intrigued by the first title, whereas the others don't say much to me.

    D&D Rules Cyclopedia-any experiences

I run a campaign with it earlier this year and it rocks. It's pretty easy to master the rules (I've a 10 year boy playing in my table) and it is very compact (one volume!). I am sure that, despite the mechanical innovations of 3rd edition, the D&D Rules Cyclopedia is the peak of D&D development...

Should D&D be sold as a boardgame?

Is this new one a replacement (probably with different minis), a redesigned box, or a follow up, such as the old expert box? Tell us more about it!

Should I upgrade from GURPS 3rd Edition, to 4th?

I've used GURPS extensively about 12-15 years ago. It's an excellent game, but relies too much in small details to my taste. Recently, I borrowed GURPS 4 from a friend and read it. It's a great improvement, specially regarding character generation and combat. Still, it's too detailed to my...

    why cant you sunder armour?

As Irdeggman pointed out, armour is designed to be sundered, as such, they can wear out after a number of fights, but it is probably too much complexity to add to a game.
