1) Weapon Finesse is a rule not a feat
2) Level based AC progression (called a Defense Value), Armor provides Damage Reduction
3)No cross class skills, each class gets 4 additional skill points per level
Others:
4) Dodge provides a flat +1 to Defense
5) Rase Dead type spells are replaced with...
While not common it does happen from time to time. I usualy find that no combat sessions are usualy found durring the middle of an story arch.... The PC's are hooked by then and are usualy trying to figure out whats going on, at the same time this is when the BBEG is trying to figure out what...
Chronicles of Narnia when I was very young (Elementary school, though I cannot remember which year i started reading them). Then i read "The Dark is Rising" series (which I dearly loved, and having read this thread will have to look up and read again......)
I've always seen it as a plot device, not a spell for players (or a hammer for the DM). A Geas spell can explain why a Dragon has to guard a particular treasure or why the "Knight Protector of the Kingdom" has suddenly started serving the BBEG. If cast on a PC then it should be used for a...
Well I actualy have no idea how many minis I have, but its a large number. I've got a sizable number of Games Workshop minis (not the metal ones but boxes of plastic Zombies and Milita). I've alos got a sizable number of Reaper minis (which are hard to classify because they are usualy unique).
Cunning and skill with a blade will get you far IMC, and there are many women with such skill. In fact one of the most powerful warriors is a barbarian woman, her skill with the blade is unmatched and her power restricted only by her lack of ambition.
position IMC is determined more by birth...

1. adventurers as a separate class of people
No, PC's have been mercs, bodyguards, bounty hunters, treasure hunters, brigands, and even assasins but never have they been part of an "adventuring class"
2. PCs as exceptional characters
They are, but this is a result of their experience and luck...

I played for at least 5 hrs today (installed it at 3, played until 9). The servers started to lag bigtime so I logged off.
Though I'm not a big fan of online RPGs I do enjoy this one. Hopefully with Winter Break around the corner I'll have time to realy play the game.
There are several "famous" wizards IMC
Blackchasm: eight hundred years ago the dwarven Runemage who would one day be known as Blackchasm was trying to save his city from the seemingly endless tides of Orcs and Goblins who assaulted it. The traditional magics of his people could not bring the...
It looks OK. But like many comic book movies it wont be great (Hopefully it wont be as bad as the Hulk or the last few Batman movies).
I'll end up seeing it, but mostly because a few of my friends ar big comic book guys.
