These days I mostly go with d6 for most games. It's very flexible and adaptable to almost any style of play, action resolution (including combat) is quick and easy, and it's easy to extend it in any way you want (adding magic, superpowers, etc.).

I love the old/classic World of Darkness games, particularly Mage. I really don't care for the majority of the new WoD, though.

I have several hundred RPG books, most of which are separate systems, rather than lots of books all within the same few systems. A lot of it is very obscure stuff going back into the 70s, when I first started buying RPGs.

I tell my players that the DM is God, before they ever agree to play in my campaign. That way I don't get nonsense like that from them.

I'm not a big fan of miniatures, battlemats, etc. - they make it feel too much like a wargame to me. I prefer the "theater of the mind" approach to rpgs, both as a GM/DM and a player. The only reason I play Pathfinder is that it's hard to find people who want to play anything else in this area.
