I have found that Fate and Savage Worlds tend to work well for unusual things like that. That's probably the route I would go. You could always go with one of the anime/manga styled ones, like BESM.

If you ever had any doubts about 4e appealing to the video game crowd, look at how often terms like "boss fight/battle" started popping up in 4e threads after it came out.

I only remember using a handful of articles from Dragon in a campaign. I just enjoyed reading the magazine. I never used any of the published adventures or settings, though - just some of the alternate classes.

I have one issue. It's okay - a lot like the old Dragon magazine - but for me it's not worth almost $10 per issue. I don't buy magazine PDFs, so chances are I won't buy any more copies of it unless the price drops and/or the amount of content goes up. I'm a stickler for magazine prices...

That's how I find out about such things. I loathe Twitter and Facebook, so I just wait for the information to disseminate out to the discussion boards.

You missed a lot of published settings in a lot of different games. That's why I think you should have had an "other" category.
