    The Assassin in Play

My girl-friend plays assassin. From what I figured, you really want to have a look at your opponents to place your shrouds, before the fighting starts. That works best, if your allies play to it. If on the other hand your friends are a little trigger-happy, you loose some great advantage. She...

    Shields & Magic Arms Slot

The character builder is correct. (In this case at least.)

    I'm going to cry.

Hunter and Marauder builds, seem cool, but confused

All magic thrown weapons return to you.

Line of Sight to Target Allies

It depends on the type of power. The Words are all Close Bursts. "Close" powers do not require line of sight, but do require line of effect. Ranged powers do require line of sight and line of effect.

    harmonious thunder

Nothing. If that happens, be glad that you just dropped a foe. It's one of the powers that are best, when you use them early in a fight.

    Sending and Language

Clever players will probably make up a code nevertheless. The best candidates in natural languages would be the polysynthetic ones.

    Forced Movement

Yeah, but the respective characters could choose to become allied or hostile for this particular effect. I mean, think about it. You can move through your friends' squares because they let you.

Weapon of the Gods: can you buff another PC?

I guess, using that on other peoples' weapons is the whole freaking point of it. Check out the Artificer. They have such a power at every level.

Is too much "kitchen sink" possible?

So, why don't you ask your fellow player what they'd like. Or better yet, sit down with your fellow players and create the basic setting together?

    Some MP2 questions

It's a basic attack as a minor action. Not basic attacks as minor action. So, I'd say no. All magic thrown weapons return to your hand. There is no rule to determine the square where you can pick up other weapons.

    PHB3 In Hand...

Very interesting, thank you. Could you tell us a little about the fluff? So they use runes, but why do these runes allow for tapping the divine? How do the other divine classes view these guys? Is there an origin story for this trade? I think, with the other divine classes they made quite a...

Official Rules Updates (March 02, 2010)

Sorry, I don't understand. Hellfire Blood is about attack, Weapon Focus is about damage. They have nothing to do with each other and never had. If you wanted to say "Weapon Expertise" these feats just got their bonus types exchanged. They did stack before.

    D&D 4E Morale Check in 4E

You could certainly make a morale rule for monsters. I'd use some modified saving throw.

    Vine Serpents

Unless otherwise stated, everything happens reaction-like. Like paladin's divine challenge damage for example.

    Distant Advantage

I'm not sure if I understand the question correctly. Generally, a character is never his own ally. A character flanks, if he is adjactent to a target and an ally is in an opposite square. The bonus applies to all types of attacks. Including ranged attacks. So if the character is in a...

    Paladin and Fighter Mark

And one last thing: The paladin's damage can apply only once per round no matter what, even though it does not require an action on the paladin's part.

    Need Clarification on Forced Movement

I'd say yes. Why can allies pass through each others' squares after all? Because your friend allows you to. So why couldn't you allow an enemy to pass through your square? Of course, usually that would grant an opportunity attack, but in this case this isn't the case and the enemy does not have...

    Question about Sudden Recovery Armor

Correct. The armor only affects the very thing called ongoing damage.

    Full discipline

As On Pudget Sound said. In addition, if you choose to use an at-will Full Discipline, you might turn your standard action into a move action to use the power's move part twice. This is not possible for encounter Full Disciplines, because both parts are considered encounter powers. (With the...
