    Vecna robot with 'centaur' posture

So that's where the BEAR robot comes from. Thanks! I've read account of how it was field tested in Iraq, but unfortunately, the article didn't have any picture of the robot in question. I like the head.

    Climb, Jump, Swim...

I will soon start an Eberron campaign where all the players are part of the crew of a pirate's ship. I combined Balance, Climb, Jump, Swim and Tumble into what I called "Acrotics". I wanted it to be a must have skill for all players. I'm eager to see if it's too much skills combined or if it's...

    When You Keep Killing Characters?

From what I understand, you're players are less effective than the expected ECL. If all players are tactically challenged, my solution would be to lower the ECL. You should think about making the new characters about the same level as the party average (or perhaps 1 level behind). This way, the...

    M&M: Island Secret Base Brainstorming

Thank you both of you! Very cool ideas indeed. I like the send of humor you both showed. I knew I could count on Enworld!

    M&M: Island Secret Base Brainstorming

My game session is in 10 hours, and I'm currently out of ideas for my current Mutants and Masterminds campaign. It is set in an Iron Age setting, meaning somewhat based 90s comics where the government can be as much as an enemy than Lex Luthor. My players will explore an island that used to be...

    Enemy-less adventures?

There's a medieval larp around where I live that is fight-less (or the rules for fighting are so deadly, you're strongly suggested not to fight). Their storylines isn't about a BBEG trying to conquer the world or what not. For example, the week-end's scenario could be to find and assemble a...

Perennial campaign worlds vs. one-shot campaign worlds

I prefer one-shot, simply because the flavor changes a lot from game to game. Changing world allows me to change the flavor with each new campaigns. It also keeps things fresh, new and exciting.

    TSR Q&A with Gary Gygax

Hi Gary! I have very fond memories of DnD. I started playing with a translated red box. I couldn't wait for the books to be translated, so I decided to learn english. Let just say that with only a partial understanding of english, we interpreted the rules in unespected ways. I'm curious about...

How to revitalize an area for gaming? (Specifically Baltimore)

IANOAEBIDHAMS! (I Am Not An Expert, But I Do Have A Modest Suggestion) My suggestion would be to create a website for the players of the Baltimore region. Make a monthly meetup in a place easy to access (perhaps even the good gaming store). Or perhaps easier to access. If the location allows...

    Jericho - anyone still watching?

Beside the fact that it lacks zombies, I find Jericho very entertaining. There's a few characters starting to get on my nerves, especially Jake's mother and the young couple who owns the grocery store and the salt mine. Let the war begin! This show need more action! :)

Requests in Dragon Letters column to go online/disk *in the 80s*

Yup, they should have canceled the magazines to replaces it with BBMs a long time ago. More seriously, I'm all for online content (even if it's in a myspace format). Both could have coexisted.
