    City of Heroes

I have two Heroes on Pinnacle (Direwraith / Greywarden) that I don't play much at the moment, but will get back to shortly. I have two Heroes on Infinity (Arcadian Hunter / Warlock Arkad) that I'm currently playing. And my Pen and Paper RPG group is plotting some combined efforts on Triumph in...

Has Anyone ever played a Doppelganger?

One of the players in my current campaign is running a teenage doppelganger with multiple personality disorder (He hasn't quite got the hang of impersonating someone while keeping their "personality" subordinated yet)... it's been fairly entertaining.

    Is Presdigitation too powerful?

This is how I handle Prestidigitation in my Campaign: I then leave it up to the GM (Me) and a little common sense to restrict the power of the skill/spell. For instance I do not allow it to create matter at range; while it can be used to create a dash of salt in the character's hand, if the...

    Do Zombies Freeze?

How does a polar bear continue to move at tempertures down to as low as -34 degrees? Do Zombies Freeze?

Also from page 302 of the 3.5 DMG (where one finds the extreme cold damage rule in question), under the main heading of The Enviroment: "This section details hazards the player characters face from the physical world around them." D00d, what part of "the player characters" is so hard to...

    Do Zombies Freeze?

So yes... extreme cold can kill those things that are not already DEAD, but the original question was do zombies freeze? If -15 degrees won't stop a zombie (and it won't because this level of freezing requires failure of a fortitude save to do lethal damage and undead are immune to fortitude...

    Do Zombies Freeze?

Yes, dead inanimate corpses freeze, but I expect that the undead are somewhat more animated. If nothing else, the frozen flesh can break off allowing the Skeleton within to move about.

Savage species and levels equivalent to hit dice

Not all Class Hit Dice are equal either... a Barbarian has a way better Hit Die than a Wizard, but both classes have their special abilities.

How open are you about playing DnD?

I make no secret about my hobbies. When I get summoned for Jury Duty, I show up and proudly hit them with "I am an NRA member that plays Dungeons and Dragons, can I go home now?"
