I use pretty much exclusively CORE classes. Right now my only source of gaming is online, so as a GM (I've yet to play) it just makes sense to stick with what is available only in the SRD. Makes it easy for those who don't have books.

I've considered using alternative spellbooks, but now I don't think I'll be able to keep a straight face when I introduce one. All I can see is the dumb fighter saying "That isn't a spellbook, that's rope."

I have all the books and I intend to run a campaign derived from it. Most of the "fluff" I won't be using, but the mechanics mesh well with the campaign world I use (see the .sig) for campaigns in that world's future.
