Steak anyone? I hear it's divine.

If you could remove one significant dynamic from 4e what would it be? Me? Oh, well how nice of you to ask; I guess I'd say that magic item slots should be eliminated. 1 magic item per character active at a time (per day) is enough. It would feal more special and it'd be easier to track. I'd...

How Many Hours of 4e "Table Time" Have You Played?

How many hours of actually playing/DMing 4e have you gotten in? DERNIT! I tried to change the poll to 5 options but it won't let me, so no "over 100" option, if you have played that much vote 100 and explain in thread, would you kindly. And I've played KotS in 3, 10 hour sessions at FLGS and...

Please help, i have a lot of doubts with 4th edition :_(

In 4e masterwork is only for armor, and is represented as being made of unique materials as shown on the armor chart with their bonuses included in their stats. The first level of masterwork chainmail is called Forgemail and is becomes availible for play at level 16. No; Being on the rock does...

    Campaign pitch too intimidating?

How about an evil cleric attempts to open a portal into the realm of his Demon Lord, and the PCs are sent into the area to investigate the rumors of said cult in some ancient ruins. <--note the Demon Lord bit, it can be a running theme and he can eventually be the BBEG.

Your skills are your friends: -You have a high intimidate (which can force monsters to surrender if bloodied). -Spend a skill point to Bluff a feint and gain CA against an adjacent foe, then attack this turn...and next...before it wears offs. -Bluff a hide or find cover/concealment and then...

    4E is for casuals, D&D is d0med

Well I think I'm pretty solid on point two...there's lots of room on the 4e bandwagon.

D&D 4E Tell me about your 4e combats (and 2h weapons)

Falchion for the win. - No feat required. - +3 vs +2 to hit. (It is always better to hit than to do a bit more damage) - 2 dice roll ups the damge average by a bit. - Power Attack is possible. - Useful with powers of upper tiers. - High Critical is the cherry on top.

    How do you interpret rules?

I bow. (Also on a second reading it occurs to me that my post may have come across snarky, it was meant with good intent).

-Also as I just found out your basic non-ranged attack is used for Opportunity Attacks, and that is keyed off of Str, so if your using a Dex build best keep that in mind. -And you only get 1 Sneak attack in per round, so those action points arn't as tasty as with other classes.

    How do you interpret rules?

With the advent of a new edition of D&D, comes a large wave of grey areas the DMs end up arbitrating. Misspelling of "keywords", "uber" combinations, interactions with the unspecified physics of the gameworld, exploitable rules, grey (gray?) areas etc. How do you bring down the hammer?

I have no idea where your pouch went. A Ninja that works well on a team. It's ALL about Combat Advantage. -Sneak up ahead of the group and get first hit, then hoof it back. -First hit can be from range...those daggers fly! -This also puts you out front for checking for traps. -Most of your...
