Glad to hear it, Scott! I had no idea the technology was so advanced. : )

Though Topaz spends a few moments tasting the air around the rats, she is apparently uninterested in such small prey and slithers back to Tirgas' side.

"If we're all ready, I say we press on. Shall we go to the other side of the wall?"

Tirgas recites a brief incantation in Druidic, and then lays a hand on Dame Morrogrim's shoulder. Cure Light Wounds: 1D8+1 = [1]+1 = 2 Eesh . . . and the cruddy rolls continue. Tirgas can cast CLW one more time if Morrogrim needs it, but then he's out of first-level spells.

"Dame Morrogrim, you seem to be badly hurt. Would you like me to heal you through Kaven's blessing?"

Pathfinder 1E [LPF] Rodents of Unusual Size

Tirgas scans the battle once again, taking in the distress of Morgym and Morrogrim, and the heavy wounds of the latter. As Topaz struggles in vain to engage the rats, Tirgas mutters "Enough of this," and retrieves a flask of acid from his pack. "Sorry, Morgrym!" he yells as he throws the acid...

Perhaps I should have thrown my Alchemist's Fire earlier . . . oh well. The stomping seems to be effective.

Tirgas glances at Dame Morrogrim and winces, evidently mortified that he has let the rats get to her. With renewed vigor, he continues to crush the rats beneath his boots. Unable to get a hold of the rats, Topaz snaps at the rodent horde ineffectually. Attack: 1D20+1 = [19]+1 = 20, Damage...

Tirgas has Improved Unarmed Strike, so he is dealing lethal damage. I don't think that's what I was saying as far as movement goes, but that arrangement seems logical to me so I'll stick with it. Thanks SK! And I'm glad to hear that your eye problems are getting worked out, Scott.

I don't believe Topaz is adjacent to any rats; if she is, she'll attempt to bite at them. Would she be able to attack the rats in front of her before following Tirgas' command to attack the rats coming at them from the rear? She'll do that if that's the case; I think her initiative was higher...

    Here are my belated rolls: Unarmed Strike: 1D20+1 = [18]+1 = 19 Damage: 1D3+1 = [3]+1 = 4 Wishing you a speedy recovery, Scott.

"I knew I should have brought a club!"' roars Tirgas as he drops his pick. Pointing backwards, towards Dame Morrogrim's flank, he barks "Topaz, attack!" Tirgas steps forward to fill the space vacated by the snake and begins stamping at the rats. Topaz will back up towards Dame Morrogrim as a...

"Eh, keep in mind that the little rats may not bother us if we don't bother them. If we run into any that look hostile, I'll see if I can calm them down without a fight." I expect the Dire Rats will be aggressive, but we might be able to get away with just using Wild Empathy on any swarms we...

Sorry to hear your recovery still isn't going so well. Best of luck with getting better. I take it that the map shows us after we've completed our loop, as we prepare to enter the cavern? Which, gods willing, we are about to do?

Tirgas nods. "Shall we go, then?" I thought that might have been the case since it was Robert talking and not you, but I wasn't sure. I apologize if I implied any slight. We ready to fight some rats now? :D

Pathfinder 1E [LPF] Rodents of Unusual Size

Lindeloef, I'd advise against splitting the party. It makes everything much more complicated, and we should be able to deal with a pincer attack--there's too many of us too close together to flank. I suggest we just loop around. Having Olkoi act as a lookout would be a good idea, but I don't...

Pathfinder 1E [LPF] Rodents of Unusual Size

"Sounds reasonable to me, but we should be careful, lest they sneak up on us from the cavern as we loop around." Tirgas takes his pick out of his belt. My bad, SD and SK. I meant to use the sblock tag, I must have been tired or something...

Morgrym's order works for me. Topaz will be in the square next to Tirgas, then; I imagine Robert won't have any difficulty shooting over her.

Tinker, I'm a bit confused. Are you saying you favor moving in a 2x2 formation? At this point, I don't much care one way or the other--I'm ready to fight some rats. That said, I do support single file (in whatever order that protects our caster), but I'll agree with whatever moves us forward.
