Well, I guess it's simplest to just agree to disagree. You seem to see the MM as a GM-only reference, whereas I see it as a general reference. To be perfectly honest, there's little a GM could throw at me that's in the MM that I don't already know pretty well anyway, so it's not really a worry...

Hmmm, I'd still be at risk in that situation with a GW Mini case, as they look the same as my handgun case. And, to be perfectly honest, considering the hillbilly population in my neighborhood, I'm not sure a tackle box would be any safer. :D

I use a handgun case to carry mine. The downside is that you have to cut the slots in the foam yourself (which is pretty easy with a hobby knife) and the upside is they're sturdy, relatively large, and super cheap.

I wouldn't have to ask for creature stats... because I have a MM... I used a druid as the example because that's what I play, but, you're right, it does apply to others. I see your point about stat blocks, and I actually use them, in the form of character sheets for all of my wildshape forms...

That's the thing, though... it's not just a misbinding... they actually put that bio in twice. The background is different, and the other side of the page is different, as is the page number. There's nothing to replace it with... any replacement will have the same thing.
