Has anyone done a Banewarrens Story Hour?

Has anyone done a Banewarrens Story Hour? I've done a search, but I can't find any obvious hits without reading through them, and I'm a player, not the GM. I'd like to give my GM a link to one so he can see it from someone else's perspective too. Anyone know of one offhand? Thanks a ton...

    Need some Cthulhu PC's

Okay, I've got 4 people that are going to run through The Crack'd and Crook'd Manse tomorrow night. I'm going to pre-gen characters. I need 3 females and 1 male. Anyone have suggestions for concepts? EDIT At least one needs to be a private investigator, and they all need some reason to work...

    Good Old School Cthulhu Module?

Wait... someone with the username Nyarlathotep has a group that doesn't enjoy Cthulhu? Something is wrong there...

    Good Old School Cthulhu Module?

Really? They put out so much stuff. I figured some of it must have been one-shot kinda stuff. Guess I was wrong. Thanks for the links, tho! I've always just made up my own adventures, but I need something quick this time.

    Good Old School Cthulhu Module?

I'm looking for a good, non-d20 Cthulhu module. I'd prefer it be something that could be played as a one-shot, but it could go a bit longer if necessary (so, something long like Masks of Nyarlathotep is out). Anyone have any suggestions?

Alternating Campaigns -- one group, two (or more) campaigns

We play once a week and the other GM and I run for 2 weeks at a time and then switch.

What supplement would you really like to see Wizards produce?

The Great Book of Gnome Names It'll be expensive, sure, but I'd imagine it'll also be around 800 pages.

To Kill or Not to Kill

Apparently you didn't read my earlier post. Just a week ago I lost a character to one set of attacks from a troll. Yeah, the troll got lucky hitting me with all attacks, just as the Giant did by critting on Tim. However, if Tim's (and my) tactics had been better perhaps we would have...

To Kill or Not to Kill

Hmmmm..... nope. No, I don't buy it. It's still just a piece of paper with numbers on it. They can still be played in Joe's game if they're killed in Bob's, because they aren't real. There's a difference between being attached to your character, and being that attached to your character...

To Kill or Not to Kill

Okay, seriously... I'm not a mod or anything, but can't you people do this elsewhere? (Everyone involved, not just KB). Take it to e-mail or something... we're trying to have a discussion here.

To Kill or Not to Kill

Being that you (as a player) had to make specific choices and choose specific tactics that may or may not have gotten you dead, I don't see how it is pure luck at all.

To Kill or Not to Kill

Yeah, I'm not adding anything really new here, but I think the risk of death is an important part of the game for me. In our last session my character (a Rog3/Rang3 that I really liked) was killed in 1 round by a sneak attack from some phase troll thingy. It was awesome. Don't get me wrong...

Wow... guess this topic wasn't as simple as I thought....

Ghost Sound: How complicated can the sound be?

The spell description says that the sound can be people talking. Can the caster determine what those people are saying? In effect, does the caster determine a "script" beforehand? If not, how is it determined what the voices are saying if PCs decide to listen closely? Also, can it target an...

What is your favorite low level Druid Spell?

Heat metal is one of my favorites. Sure, it isn't as powerful as it was in 2e, but it's still very useful. Nothing like making an enemy drop his sword. It'll also heat buckles enough to burn holes in saddlebags, as we did to an enemy in a recent encounter.... it's a fun spell to get creative...
