I'm a big fan of more story-centric games for fewer players (rather than combat-focused). It really tends to create a more successful game, and you have more time to deal with the decisions they make, as you only have 2 players to keep track of.

The essentials: books, dice, camera, assorted toiletries. and no fewer than 2 HUGE coolers full of booze.

I definitely think 2.0 is worth $50 in print, but, since I own the print version, I would never pay more than $5 for a PDF copy.

I don't really participate in the RPGA either, though I've been thinking about doing the new Eberron thingy they have going on. But the free battlemat they gave me for joinging (since I joined before they made it free) was a really nice deal.

Wait now... let's just remember.... I didn't say that homebrews are bad and published settings are good. I just said that the homebrews I've played in have never been as good as the "homebrewers" claimed or thought they were.

I've never played in a homebrew that was anywhere near as good as its creator thought it was. And I've played in quite a few homebrews. Some that took years to develop.

It seems like the best way to do it is to send your post, then do a "Find" on this particular page for each number. If it doesn't find one other than your own, you're good. Worked for me at least! :)

I dunno. It doesn't really seem worth it to me. If you bought one package for $50 and it included client connections to it, that would be one thing... but to shell out $115 for a GM and 4 players seems a bit over the top to me.

Wow... that's super cool, but it'd be REALLY expensive for us. $34.95 for the GM and $19.95 for each player... yikes!

I'd like to run a game once a month for some friends who are all over the country. Is there decent software that would help facilitate this?
