    high level attack bonuses?

There was a thread with statistics for the MM. Maybe picking a single monster sample (as you did) might not do justice to what you're stating. Lots of Statistics from the MM Anyway, not that I think you're wrong, in fact, if what you're saying is truth, it kinda makes me worried...

Only thing I don't like so far: Power Replacement

Amen. I like to play D&D probably as much as I like to play GURPS. But, when I play D&D I want to play D&D, and when I play GURPS I want to play GURPS. :)

    Creature Incarnations - Kobolds!

"Whoa! That's never happened before!" Awesome, I guess the PCs in my game are going to keep fighting kobolds a little longer than expected....

    Two handed damage

Keep in mind also that even though you are using the Bastard Sword two-handed, it's NOT a two-handed weapon. Yes, but, what does that mean? It means that, for the purposes of feats and powers that works for two-handed weapons only (or that have better effects with a two-handed weapon) the...

    Feystep With a Rider...

That's a rather intriguing question actually... I once asked what would happen with an Eladrin riding an Unicorn (since both have Fey Step). I honestly don't know if that's too powerful or not.

Only thing I don't like so far: Power Replacement

I kinda see it more like a "work in progress" sorta thing. For example, when you get to lvl 15 and replace a wizard power, instead of treating it like "forgetting" a spell and learning a new one, treat it as if the spell evolved into something better, Freezing Cloud becomes Wall of Ice or Blast...

Tide of Iron + Spear Push

Thanks for the responses. It was kinda what I was leaning to think too... Yeah, generally... but it's always good to have a plan B... (push them down a cliff or bridge or whatever, deliver them to the rogue so that the rogue can deal the final blow, give room for the wizard to cast his AoE...

Tide of Iron + Spear Push

Is it really possible? Spear Push (paragon feat) seems to imply that when you use a spear attack that pushes a creature you add 1 to the number of squares pushed. From reading Tide of Iron (fighter at-will) it seems that the forced movement effect comes from your shield and not directly from...

    Warlord and commander's strike

Yes, as well as often enough the other(s) melee ally(ies) is/are dealing with other threats and you're there fighting it alone... Also, sometimes you're the only melee type on your group.

    Warlord and commander's strike

If i was to change anything in this power, it wouldn't be the range, because that would obviously break the power. Instead, I'd change the attack line to: "Attack: An ally of your choice within 5 squares makes a basic attack against the target." This means that you still need to engage the...

What happens with reliable multi-target powers?

Even though, I suppose, anyone can see what's intended, that if you hit at least one of the attacks then the power is used up, I'll have to disagree with this post: That means then, that if you throw a Fireball against 10 foes, and you hit only one of them, then everyone takes FULL damage...

    Role Features... Controller left out?

I see your point Keterys. All roles follow this sort of pattern: -Challenge (which leads to marking targets and additional effects) -Strikers get single target damage buffs, either conditional (sneak attack) or unconditional but least aggravating (warlock's curse, hunter's quarry)...

    Warlord Exploit - Commander's Strike

Your ally does not get your proficiency bonus to attack simply because you are not the one doing the attack. In fact you don't roll any dice. I think the only thing i'd change about this power is that instead of "basic melee attack" it would read just "basic attack". I don't think it would...

Compiled info on upcoming classes & races

Yeah, unless they just changed the barbarian name to "Rampager" or something like that, because as you pointed " D, R and B" were the obvious ones... and honestly, R is not that obvious... at least not to me. I just find kinda weird though, that the new PHBII will revisit old power sources.

    Disenchanting

You see, in order to understand the reasoning behind that rule you'd first need to understand the standard treasure expected per level. From the top of my head, a given party of 5 players will receive (in the space of going up 1 level): One magic item "worth" level +1 One magic item "worth"...

    Interesting use of Disease mechanics

That puts a whole new perspective to it, and I like it, a lot. One could make a bunch of those traumas as different diseases and then house rule that once you get to 0 HP and then up again, you gain one "disease" of somesort, kinda like battle scars.... ...yeah, I like it
