    Skill check question

Yes, remember that only the character is rolling the dice. He has +10 on the check and have to beat a DC of 21 (Kobold's modified Will defense)

D&D 4E What is your favorite part of 4e?

Yeah, I haven't played that one so I couldn't know.

D&D 4E What is your favorite part of 4e?

The way they went in details of stuff like how the structure of your turn takes place: The Start of Your Turn --> Actions on Your Turn -->End of Your Turn Clearly specifying which effects takes place when and where. "When do I roll for saves? When do i take my ongoing damage?" Really, this...

    Tensers Floating Duckblind

It's not like you can go wherever you want with it. It stands one foot off the ground. Still pretty cool, and useful if you want to avoid difficult terrain.

    D&D 4E 4e FAQ

I'll try to answer those based on my guts as well, but i don't think there's any evidence on the book (aside from what's written under Spellbook page 158). So if you want an official answer you'll have to wait for it from an official source. 1. If you can cast 3 Daily Powers you can memorize 3...

    Magic Item Dependence

Remember also that there's a limit to the number of daily powers you can use out of magic items before you need to take an extended rest (or 2 milestones are achieved) So it doesn't matter if you got one magic item that grants a daily power on each item slot.

    Higher Ground bonus gone?

Same with allies not providing cover to enemies. Kinda dumb imo.

    D&D 4E 4e FAQ

In order to Mark a given target you first need to Attack it. When you use Cleave you're not making an attack against it, you're simply damaging it.

    D&D 4E 4e FAQ

In 4E we pay for the Item Level and not Material. If on the table the armor states it needs a minimum enhancement bonus of +4 then it's an item that ranges from Level 16 to 20. (although it could have an enhancement of +5 or even +6). This means that a Leather armor +4 costs exactly the same...

Oh, thank you very much! I read and reread at least 50 times that line.

    D&D 4E 4e FAQ

I'd like to add one question too: -What happens when you roll a 20 on your Death Saving Throw and you got no Healing Surges left? (the explanation on the book looks weird to me)

Magic Items... I dont get em

That sounds about right (and i was actually thinking about that). Though, what would you do if the new item lvl would go beyond the item bonus "treshold"? For example: Lightning Weapon +1 (lvl 5) Duelist's Weapon +1 (lvl 3) Adding both together would create a "Duelist's Lightining Weapon +1"...

Will magic implements + magic weapons make high level multiclassing unfeasible?

Let's see, if you start a Level 27 character from scratch you get: A level 28 Magic Item A level 27 Magic Item A level 26 Magic Item 1,125,000gp The 2 top items would probably be what you consider of most importance, so a Wizard/Fighter would probably prefer his implement in place of a martial...

How does it work when a Wizard replaces a power?

My guess is that you do it on a one-to-one basis I'll try to explain: When you reach level 9 you add two spells to your book: Ice Storm (9th lvl) and Wall of Fire (9th lvl) (for example) Then when you reach level 15 you can replace one of them: swap Wall of Fire (9th lvl) for Wall of Ice (15th...

    Ranger > Warlock

Remember that when you "roll a toon" above first level you get: One magic item of your level +1 One magic item of your level One magic item of your level -1 Gold pieces worth one magic item of your level -1 So, if you're making a lvl 10 character, nothing keeps you from having a Magic Armor...

Unintended +3 to hit (questionable phrasing?) SOLVED: p275

You don't get the prof. bonus. You can see that by looking at the Holy Avenger or the Pact Blade. Also, similarly, you don't get a prof bonus when you use a Staff (Staff and Quarterstaff kinda works interchangeable). If you use a Staff (wizard's implement) as a melee weapon you DO get it's...

    Two handed weapons... *spoliers*

For some reason i had the impression that when you use a weapon in two hands (regardless of it being Versatile or not) you'd get a +1 to damage. It feels right considering we don't get our 1.5x Str mod anymore. But after seeing this thread I went to the book and figured there's no such thing...
