We have had asl session zero using Sablewood as our frame. We added some meat to it's outlines and I will use the QS adventure as a base intro as it's new to all the players. I'm sure it will be tweaked as we play it out

That's not my experience. I do play 5E with high pace though. Maybe not quite up to pace with DH

I am positive DH combat is more dynamic than 5E. I am positive it is not faster.

The One Ring one.i really didn't like the hobbity starter set adventure . This one looks better, IMO as wider range of PCs and challenges.

It's fine if that's how the games designed In our BECMI I think a cleric is 6th, and an elf 4th. PBTA mark xp differently so progress is not equal The One Ring as well springs to mind SPI Dragonquest PCs can have varied xp. Not seen it in PF1 or 5e. I think you are supposed to be the same

Yeah. You get quite a lot at level 2, it was very nice. And when we hit level 3 some of the spells get very tasty

Don't you diss the tactical baton

Ok. Having had endless sessions, ( about 4) of rolling misery with my dice I just finished a ridiculous session, where I again noted all my rolls 2 fails with fear 2 fails with hope 5 successes with hope, and 4 criticals , having never rolled any. Nature is balanced

Pathfinder War of the Crown AP worked pretty well, as discussed the latter half of the Jade Regent

I think frames with light touch adventures is fine. The quick start one in Sablewood is ok.

Vecna in Krynn. Dead bark dryad encounter with some trolls, into the three moon vault, which I had drew quite badly beforehand hence the dodgy squares
