Well, appearently no one around me has a copy of Cybernet for sale, so if that's what we use i'm out of luck.
I have a copy of some free cyberpunk rules for d20 modern (cyd20), but i have no idea how good they are, havn't played with them.
I did the exact same thing... did I complain? nope not one bit... Price to Re-up (right before it went free like you said) $5, price of Battlemat? well over $5, postage on battlemat $5.95 why complain?

I've tried Campaign suite, and while I liked it, it seemed to have problems with in some places (after printing my character sheet i had to write in all the adjusted skills, saves and attacks to account for ability...
Doc Octopus would be interesting to see... but we already know what he's capable.
I'd me more fasinated to see what a official movie version of Helsing turns out like.
