Dragonlance? Fewmaster Toede springs to mind... maybe they want to start cleaning up the species in that setting by giving hobgoblins more breadth and depth? I would then expect teasers for modernized kender, gully dwarves, etc., to follow.

They're also releasing two sets of Saltmarsh minis, so given D&D's ongoing growth in popularity, I wouldn't be surprised if they went back and released sets for all of their previously published adventures. Some people (like me!) have yet to play/run them and having cool minis for specific...

Nah, I wouldn't reveal the CR. Too meta gamey, it would kill the atmosphere IMO. Good descriptions of the creature and it's behaviour should be sufficient... and if the players have learned that sometimes running is the smarter choice, so much the better.

Must admit that you've caught my attention, and I'm seriously tempted to back your project - even though I rarely back Kickstarters these days for a variety of reasons. How many pages do you anticipate the rulebook will have? EDIT: Nevermind, just spotted the reference to 24 pages.

A recent post on the Edge Facebook page stated that the release of Midnight had been postponed until summer 2022 due to all the global shipping woes. They have provided semi-regular updates and interior page/art samples.
