A revised and un-quirked WFRP 4.5e system would be ideal.

I'll keep my eyes open for what system C7 will use. WHFR4e is not only crunchy, which I can live with, but quirky and unnecessarily unintuitive in the wrong places. 2e would be ideal, but there's no VTT support for that.

In fantasy, I let my players decide if and when the question pops up. The world will still be populated by people with "defects", since hey class society. In Sci Fi it's only a matter of credits.

Unless the physical society is extremelly infested with and dominated by phallic shapes, artists have a choice of motif. It’s possible I guess, but s far I haven’t seen Dick planet in Stars Without Numbers tables.

That phallic shapes exist in a society, for utilitarian or esthetic reasons, doesn't necessarily mean that society itself must be depicted as and represented by them.

I’ve only spent a modest amount this year on OSR and DCC pdf stuff. And the only thing I really need next year is the Foundryfied Savage Worlds Sci Fi Companion, then I’m good for a couple of years.

I love SW, it's my goto system for most genres. But I still think it runs better with a setting or companion book, core alone can feel a bit thin. Still fully playable though.

All I see from chat gpt etc is a way to not use ones own creativity. I want my brain - with all it’s limitations - to be able to get into creative overdrive when I need it. It’s something I enjoy and don’t want it to wither away or be replaced.
