They, not you. I'm with PCGen, not CMP. Which is why we, PCGen, say to install in a new directory so you don't wipe out anything you may have modified.

Correct, CMP is a licensee of WotC's for eTools (the program) and of datasets based upon their publications.

And we at PCGen thought that we were doing the datasets under fair use. WotC stated otherwise. As such, we removed the files. CMP did not take the files, they created their own from scratch.

Not necessarily. If WotC does go completely in-house, then no 3rd party producer is going to have a license.

Here's another "me too" for this statement. The most recent books were rather slow in development. I enjoyed the books up to about 6 with no problem. Then things started slowing down. I'd like to see this series end, but its more important that Jordan get better. I don't wish him to work...

This would be cool. I just plowed through the entire series for the first time. I found the books highly addictive.

I just finished the Honor Harrington series the other day. Quite an addictive series, IMO.

They don't? I just finished the trilogy (for the 1st time), and I was under the impression that they knew who their patron was. I thought Paks was unique in that she had multiple patrons, while most only had one. I thought the powers they exhibited were from the blessings of their patron(s).

Which company produces Skull & Bones? Forgive my ignorance, but I don't have it. We, PCGen, will need to approach the company to see if we can get permission to create/distribute the dataset. Once that happens, one of the data monkeys (all volunteers) can pick it up and do it.

I tried to read that when that was the ENW Book Club pick. I couldn't get through it. I'm not sure why it didn't intrigue me, but it didn't.

Quite a bit. :) I've been using since 1.4.x days, and we're at 5.11.0 now.

PCGen runs via java. If your variant of Linux will run java (and I think all do, but I'm not sure) then your'e in luck.

I just finished Eragon and Eldest, and read the 1st book in the Honor Harrington series before that. I'm still waiting on my library to get book 2 of the Honor Harrington series.
