    D&D 5E (2014) Are solo monsters weaker in 5e?

I cannot find this in the DMG or the MM. I think you're thinking of Hit Die type.

    D&D 5E (2014) Hobgoblin Leaders

I believe in Eberron they actually had the Dhakaani empire for a while, lost it to the Daelkyr, and then eventually created the Goblinoid nation of Darguun

D&D 5E (2014) Why do Sorcerers have so few spells compared to other full Casters

People have been saying that on the internet for a very long time now. To hell with that. 5th cut a lot of stuff to be this good. Clearly, cutting more is the solution.

D&D 5E (2014) Why do Sorcerers have so few spells compared to other full Casters

Spells known are the primary control valve on Sorcerer power. More Known, more powerful and flexible the class becomes. They either went too conservative on it, or they gave the wizard far too many spells to cast per day in comparison. Or both! There's already some bonus spells for sorcerer...

    D&D 5E (2014) Are solo monsters weaker in 5e?

That's not quite the monster challenge I presented. In fact, given its vulnerability to magic piercing weapons wielded by good creatures, and the assumption that the wizard will have enough room to kite on a phantom steed (and that the defense of a Rakshasa is actually quite a bit weaker than a...

    D&D 5E (2014) Wand of Wonder?

Sheer boredom can actually account for a lot of really, really stupid decisions. You already know what it does, but really, what have you got to lose? :p

    D&D 5E (2014) Are solo monsters weaker in 5e?

The number of variables in the system, not only in 5th but also in 3rd, 2nd and 1st, make calculating the 'average' difficulty a truly ludicrously difficult task. The CR for creating an effective CR system is 30+. Keep in mind, 5th is way simplified from 3rd, and also from 2nd and 1st. The...

    Custom Gaming Table Suggestions?

Ooh, maybe make it so you can take the walls around the recessed area off. That way, nothing can get stuck in the edges of the table, like cards, coins or pieces of cardboard.

Unearthed Arcana New Year Unearthed Arcana Brings Back Those Old 2E Kits

It's not like they actually gave up any design space for non-dice based cavaliers, though. They could easily fit both as variations of the same concept.

D&D 5E (2014) [Forgotten Realms] The Wall of the Faithless

Worthiness is only subjective if morality is.

D&D 5E (2014) [Forgotten Realms] The Wall of the Faithless

The singularity is definitively non-definable, so whatevs. For all we know the concept of time will be destroyed by it's very existence. The demand is irrelevant. That's not divine power, that's a market transaction. It's the worthiness that counts. :p

    D&D 5E (2014) Killing a Teammate

Honestly, that just looks like a typical DM post to me. I think a lot of DMs start off inflexible in no small part because they don't know enough about how the rules affect the game, and fear that straying from the rules will result in everybody getting upset.

D&D 5E (2014) [Forgotten Realms] The Wall of the Faithless

They're not gods because they're aren't an AI with intelligence beyond what anything else could ever be considered to have. Sorry, did I get singularity all over your theology? :P As for Atheism, the concept of a 'god' is fundamentally an incoherent concept. No being deserves worship, and...

Unearthed Arcana New Year Unearthed Arcana Brings Back Those Old 2E Kits

I think the abilities of the Fighter subclasses are worded like that to prevent them from interacting with the Martial Adept feat.

Unearthed Arcana New Year Unearthed Arcana Brings Back Those Old 2E Kits

Hmm... I'm actually thinking of running Tumbling Fool like so: Jesters get those benefits for free. Everybody can try to get one such benefit for a turn by succeeding on a Acrobatics check on their turn. I may also include the ability to make one ability check per turn for free, unless...

    D&D 5E (2014) Killing a Teammate

They shouldn't just kill the fighter. Loot the body, then cook it and make field rations. We're going for optimum efficiency here. No more healing, no more resting, no raising the dead. Just make a new character, grab a sword and CHARGGGGGGGGGGGE! :p If your group likes murdering inconvenient...

D&D 5E (2014) What PC does Huge DPS in your party ?

Hang on, are you counting the sneak attack twice? Characters should only be able to sneak attack once per turn.

D&D 5E (2014) What PC does Huge DPS in your party ?

The OP has not stated whether or not they are a DM. While it's true that said character is hitting a fair bit harder than many others of the same level, that character is, not to put too fine a point on it, supposed to be doing quite a bit of damage. You don't go Fighter/Rogue to hit like a wet...
