Game Night banner ad not redirecting

Well if you're going to reset it then that's free advertising, so no, I don't mind at all. :)

Game Night banner ad not redirecting

If it helps, I'm reasonably relaxed about it! :) In all seriousness, I know you're working on it, and you've been really helpful so far, so that's good with me. And it's actually getting a rather good (for me) click-thru rate of 1.4%! Which I'm quite chuffed about. (I think my last lot were...

So, what did all the cool RPG designers do, originally?

Given that RPG designing is a sort of geekish thing to do (no offence intended - I consider myself to be a geek) I'd say that you can always go with the best guess for a geek's employment: Something to do with computers. You'll probably be right about 50% of the time.

    What's your rolling style?

*ahem* Could I humbly submit a link for consideration: It's got pictures, and everything! :)

[Reading, UK / Shop] Eclectic Games is moving (and I'm doing a signing)

Eclectic Games, the rather good games shop in Reading, is moving to a new, much larger site that's just adjacent to their current location. According to their press release: Anyhow, the opening day is next Saturday, 28th June, and they've very graciously allowed to me share their day by doing...

    London Dungeon tonight! Who's going?

Did anyone chat with the freelance journalist covering the event? I had quite a long chat with him in the queue outside and gave him a card, but haven't heard anything from him, and haven't been able to find anything about it. Anyone else got any info?

    I attended DDWWGD in Seattle.

Oh yes! I caught sight of that on the character sheet of the bloke sitting next to me (for those who weren't there, each character had a quote written at the top of the sheet) and thought: "No British person would have written that." :)

    I attended DDWWGD in Seattle.

Did you manage to save them? At the London event, we took about an hour to blunder into the downstairs bit, set ourselves on fire, got distracted with a load of innuendo-laden jokes (a lot of the powers seems to have double-entende names... or maybe that's us being too English for our own good)...

    Gen con and WOC

Well firstly, there's no universal answer to that. It depends on how much you think the likelihood of them paying you back will increase if you help them compared with how much extra money you might spend in helping them. I personally think it makes sense to help GenCon. After all, if a bloke...

    Who was right

Ouch. I make the OPs current score for this thead to be a desperately disappointing minus eighty two. In a thead that's now 221 posts long, you really need to be scoring more than that. You had a good (+48) run through the fourth and fifth pages (asssuming 30 posts per page), but you spent very...

Did Anyone Go To The Last GenCon UK?

There's no way on Earth we're going to sell £400 profits worth of books, not when (as you point out) we only have one book to sell (i.e. you can only sell one book to each customer) and we usually sell it at conventions at £6.99. In fact, it would be a stretch to sell a gross (i.e. before costs)...

Did Anyone Go To The Last GenCon UK?

Hi all, We're thinking of having a stall to sell Game Night at this year's GenCon UK, but I've never been to its modern incarnation, and have no idea what it's like. I know it's been at Reading before, but that's about it. Attending will make three long weekends of selling in a row (after...

    ENnies

Having come across the thread, and thought: "Hmm... ENnies?", I've just had a read of the submissions guidelines on the off-chance that there might be a category that I could enter my RPG novel in... and there is: I'm quite chuffed about that. I didn't really think there would be a category...

    Game Night

And just a quick final post to say that if anyone wants a second ENWorld opinion of the book, Teflon Billy also did a review: http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=214551 Thanks, Jonny

    Game Night

Well firstly, it's really good to hear that you enjoyed it. It's what makes it all worthwhile - especially for this fragile-ego author! :) As to the characters, it's always interesting to hear what people think of them. I didn't set out to make any better or worse than any others as such...

Looking For Games Shops In UK & Ireland

Sorry, schoolboy error by me. There are two Games Shops that aren't on the list, because I've already given them books, and Leisure Games is one of them. Let me go and add them back in. Thanks!

Game Night Is Now Being Distributed By Esdevium Games

We are pleased to announce that Game Night is now being distributed by Esdevium Games, one of the leading distributors of hobby and mass-market products in Europe. The practical upshot of this is that if you're in the UK, Ireland, or possibly mainland Europe, your local games shop should be...

Looking For Games Shops In UK & Ireland

Hi all, I'm currently trying to come up with a list of current UK and Ireland games shops (or at least shops that might sell games) and found it to be surprisingly hard. Firstly, Yellow Pages online is no good, because it doesn't distinguish between games shops and computer games shops. And...
