I voted combat, however, I don't really want it w/o the story. I might vote story if I played more than once a month. As it stands now, as much as I want story, if I don't get to bash something (or be bashed :D) at least once during the session I feel like I missed something.

Some 1e houserules I had: Humans: +10% xp, +1 to anystat of choice, -1 to any stat of choice. (I did this to counter that NOBODY wanted to be human in my games... everyone wanted the Infravision that pretty much ALL non-humans seemed to have. Why be human when i can see in the dark!?!?!)...

For the UA i heavily trimed the quasi-magic abilities of the Cavalier and Barbarian. I also put anywhere from -10% to -50% xp penalty depending on the race and abilities... this included starting XP if the party was above 1st.
