Actually theres an anime that this setting reminds me of called Full Metal Alchemist... its got magic, trains, and even a warforged type (although it was accidental).. im told it comes out in the US August 5th.

Id most definately say no. The reason behind this is that (for me at least) friends make the campaign MUCH more enjoyable, even if you dont like whats going on, whether it be high/low magic or home brew. Friends make the game IMHO

I also like the Behir, but im a huge fan of the Cloud Giant, he just looks plain badass. If the Storm giant looked half as cool as it, id use it more. The Gold dragon is also quite impressive.

Well, in my opinion, feats for a wizard doesnt make or break the character, its all his spells. But, one feat id suggest is Energy Substitution (from faerun i think, allows you to make a spell of fire to be ice, etc etc) and Spell Focus(always) and Spell Penetration(if your fighting SR)...

To tell you the truth, i'd still be inclined to pick a character as if i had "regular" stats. But, id try to maximize the characters performance, like having a fighter, with good skill choices, that can use his physical attributes to a near-full potential. I'd go with a Ranger, two weapon...

i completely agree. drow(cow) sounds weak and frail to me, whereas drow(oh) sounds devious(spelling :P) and powerful..
