    Brakes Off - Multiclassing

I guess this is one of the reasons I am posting this thread. I really don't see how powerful they are. Quite the opposite in fact. For instance, at 4th level, I can burn a feat slot to change my currently known 3rd level encounter power, to one from my second class. Meanwhile, my friend...

    Brakes Off - Multiclassing

Absolutely true. I guess I had this solved in my head, as I would only allow encounter/utility/daily powers to be swapped out. Essentially I plan on merely combining the three feats (novice, acolyte, adept) into one: Power Swap Freely Prerequisite: Any class-specific multiclass feat, 2nd...

    Brakes Off - Multiclassing

Isn't that a possible problem with the RAW? Essentially, all I am doing is removing the 'limit of three powers gained from your other class'.

    Brakes Off - Multiclassing

I am strongly considering removing the multiclass power swap feats altogether. So, once you take the initial class-specific feat (i.e. Initiate of the Faith, Student of the Sword, etc), you may freely choose powers from either of the two class power lists. My questions are: -does anyone...

Make all encounter and daily powers "reliable"

Has anyone thought of allowing an Action Point to allow an immediate reroll (and perhaps giving out more than one to compensate for the usage)?

    Encounters Per Day

Can anyone tell me (or better yet, point me to the section in the book) what the intended formula is for encounters per day? In other words, how many encounters is the Party supposed to go through before they are expected to take an extended rest?

    Fighter's Mark and Opportunity Attacks

If a Fighter has an enemy marked, and that enemy takes an Opportunity Attack on someone running by (i.e. that someone is leaving an adjacent square), does the Fighter get his Immediate Interrupt attack due to his Combat Challenge? I as a DM ruled that the intent of the Combat Challenge is to...

    Inn-Fighting Dice Game

Does anyone have any experience with this new game (similar vein to Three Dragon Ante)from WOTC? Specifically, has anyone had any luck finding the link at WOTC which allows one to add "your own D&D characters to the game" through some template?

How to talk like a dwarf.

Check out Dragon Mag, Issue 278. It has an article on the dwarven language, and another on how to make dwarven battle cries.

    Touch of Idiocy

Does anyone know if multiple castings of the spell Touch of Idiocy stack? In other words, can I keep casting this spell until the victim's scores are all 1?

    Three Dragon Ante

I DMed a game where the Captain of the Crimson Ship (Eberron campaign) challenged the players to a game during a voyage. We had six players, used the character skill option rules, and to add a little intrigue, the Captain required each PC to ante up a magic item before the game started. Each...

    Weapon Proficiency Question

Crazy question, but I can't seem to find the answer in the books. What is the attack modifier if a medium character is using a large sized weapon (and doesn't have the proficiency for it)?

What's the problem with bringing PCs back from the dead?

For me, as a DM, the problem is striking a balance between: a. Death is not an option, so the challenge is non existent b. Screwing up the flow of the campaign while PCs try to bring back their dead friend, or wait for a new friend to show up Changing the levels of a few spells goes a long...

    Wounding Weapon Quality

Actually, no, I am using the 3.5 version. Nifft was spot on above. Although, I do indeed admit the hit point loss is not exponential. I just used that word for emphasis.
