    Adventure publishing question

I'm interested in publishing a D&D adventure in PDF form. This would be my first solo publication for an RPG game. This adventure would have no new feats, monsters or mechanics. It wouldn't have any new monsters or Prestige Classes. It will use d20 D&D OGL magic items, monsters and skills. I...

    Orc Blood and Double Axe

"Throne of Iuz" in Dungeon 118 included an orc-specific magical weapon quality. Conventiently enought, it's called "Orc Blood."

    Lighthearted character names?

I like a mix of silly (but not insulting) names and serious ones. When I'm creating a character, or I know a character building session is coming up, I pack the "Baby Name" book I own. That's always fun to look through. Despite that, I always get weird looks when I bring it out because everyone...

    Magic sales and security

The Stronghold Builders Guidebook had some good suggestions for securing high-ticket items. Can't remember the exact details though. Perhaps a Contingency spell?

    [Dungeon 120] Back cover - 2 questions

What I don't understand is why people are always complaining about chainmail bikinis. They protect the important spots. ooooh, bad Mighty Halfling! Bad!

Need ideas for a disease-based scenario

Another suggestion, make one of the character races completely immune to the disease, but don't tell them they are. I don't know if there are any half-orcs in Dragonlance, but that would be my pick. You gotta throw a bone to that OrcBlood feature every once in a while!

Need help for 4 hour one shot D&D game

So how did your session go Airwhale? No more lurking now, let's hear what happened!

Need help for 4 hour one shot D&D game

I'm such a whore. I lurk over these boards like a vulture, hoping a mention of one of my adventures pops up and then dive in.

Need help for 4 hour one shot D&D game

Hey guys, Thanks for suggesting my adventure, "Buzz in the Bridge." I'm always glad to hear what people thought of it. Airwhale, if you end up running it, please give me a report (by responding to this thread) on how the session goes. Just last weekend someone did the same and said their...

Running combat in an online game

As I said in my post :) , I think the problem with online games are that combat takes way too long. The above system could help speed up combat because it could cause an opponent to drop with one hit. With such a system, combat speeds up and doesn't bog down an online game. The above quote...

    Recommendation for 3rd Level Module

You guys have made my day! It's so neat to get feedback like this! I must admit, I'm really surprised that both groups had a good stock of anti-toxin with them. They're just as prepared as the Boy Scouts! I bet they all were proud of their advance planning! Based on the original Monster Manual...

Running combat in an online game

Online Game Mechanic I feel your pain. I ran an online game that died in the MIDDLE of a combat. I specifically think that it died because the combat took so long. Needless to say, I spent a little time yesterday trying to figure out how to speed up combat. In particular, I thought about how...

    Recommendation for 3rd Level Module

If I may toot my own horn, check out "Buzz in the Bridge" (which I wrote) from Dungeon No. 110. It's a very short, but lively adventure (with expansion suggestions). It also comes with a cool 4-page miniatures scale map. In particular, this is an adventure that's light in feel with a focus on...

Roll Call of Published EN Worlders!

Thanks! I'm surprised how little mimics are used! I'm always hearing/reading about how much people liked this adventure. It makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside!

    Happy B-Day D&D!!!

And just think, back then they had to write their own character sheets. None of these fancy "pdfs" and photo copiers! No siree, they had to take a pencil and write out "HP" and "AC." Savages, I tell ya!
