    d20 Modern: Chlorine Gas

one problem is that there is far more deadly gear out there for a certain amount, and chlorine gas is not one of them. Yes it can kill but not like the good stuff. :]

    d20 Modern: Chlorine Gas

Interestily it is heavier than air, so it would settle pretty quickly to the ground, but other than that looks good to me.

    [Nexus] Poisons-discuss

POISON When a character takes damage from an attack with a poisoned weapon, touches an item smeared with contact poison, consumes a poisonous substance, inhales a poisonous gas, or is otherwise poisoned, the character must make a Fortitude saving throw. If the character fails, they take the...

    d20 Modern: Chlorine Gas

the rules for poisoning are not that you are continuely exposed to the gas, ie stuck in the room with the gas, but that you have gotten a dose of it once. So you could rule that exposure each round is another poisoning dose and thus another save. Thus after a minute you would have been exposed...

    d20 Modern: Chlorine Gas

Its not that powerful compared to mustard gas or sarine or such, so damage and DC should be quite low. It also takes a long time to kill about 30 minutes. I beleive that sarine is hand full of minutes And if its that easy to make then 12-14 should be the craft DC The secondary affect is not...

    d20 Modern: Chlorine Gas

I think the craft DC is too high as well, maybe a 17 or such would be about right. You are just concentrating it to make it more powerful for weaponisation, so maybe a +2 for a higher damage???

    d20 Modern: Chlorine Gas

arsenic is less deadly then chlorine gas, per dose. So an increased damage would be required IMHO. The gas would not need to much to be deadly. It looks like arsenic requires to be injested

    d20 Modern: Chlorine Gas

true not d20M rules set. mine actually. Sorry for highjacking HeapThaumaturgist :uhoh: As you did put d20M, only noticed this time when posting. opps I really dislike the simple poison and disease roll twice and thats all. So I made a system that builds the craft DC and fort DC as you assign...

The use of just hp damage and con damage seems fair enough. The DC is dependant on the amount exposed to.

Adventuring skills found to be less useful than first thought

Again you need to define the question. I gather the question is related to skills as per d20M descriptions. As there are plently of OGL systems which have redefined the skills as per the SRDs. I agree though, a nice bonus given to a treat injury check would be in order. The level would be...

Adventuring skills found to be less useful than first thought

So you are talking about a d20M system use of skills, which i asked you right back at the start. Hum drugs don't help people get better? OoooooKKKKKaaaayyyyy??????? Craft the drugs which can: a: automatically remove the disease or poison affect, or b: give a skill bonus to the treat injury...

Adventuring skills found to be less useful than first thought

craft builds the stuff, treat injury uses the stuff. So I can't see how craft (pharm) replaces treat injury???? Craft (wiriting) can be used to forge the paper docs, so I would have a syngery skill for having 5 ranks in this for that purpose. But yes otherwise fluff. naviagate- hum yep has...

Adventuring skills found to be less useful than first thought

I gather this is d20m system based for the skills? If so then, IMHO one of the problems with the experince system for some systems is that they reward combat only or mainly. This is one fo the things I attempted to change in my system. Because of this then some non combat skills tend to be...

and using your own sources and SRD This seems to read as ammo Also from d20 SRD arcana equipment in ammo types Now Gauss GUN From your link hum reads to me as a GUN. From d20 SRD future So maybe we can fit the ammo in the gun. As one is a magnetic/ gravity firing system and the...
