Which system for a Star Wars game?

I would suggest the star wars d20 system, the best chance of using any other adventure and converting it over for that campiagn.

d20 Future: Mutants as a Separate Species

just put a maximum limit that the increase can happen. A lot of the extra STR and CON comes from size increase any way for the creatures, and don't forget the free ability point every 4 HD.

d20 Future: Mutants as a Separate Species

Why not just adapt it since you like the idea, I have to some extent for Nexus. One fo the problems with just strapping on the LA to the normal race is that you are not looking at the creatures that basically are mutants already. Look at the troll or sea elf or several other humaniod types...

WotC - Bullet Points Under the Skin

It is an example of what you "might" be able to do with not just using the gadgets as is.

    [Nexus] Cybernetics

heaps of new gear on the way soon teaser...... Heavy Weapon Mount (PL 6) Requirement: Cybernetics arm, Fortified Skeleton The upgrade allows a creature to mount a huge weapon to themselves and fire it normally. It affixes to the torso of the creature and arm. The weapon can be moved around to...

WotC - Bullet Points Under the Skin

I did not say "they" had to say the words. The PC might say it to the bad guys as part of an ambush or such. Limiting it reduces the fun with it.

    Best Modern Game System

I started down this path, and have also coupled abilities for the HP mod, skill bonus. To hoipefully stop too much max / min for abilities.

WotC - Bullet Points Under the Skin

and as I said I don't see that it can not be used for other things than autofire weapons or explosives. No reason that something other than "claws out" could not be used. And for that fact you could not have the explosive with a voice activation, so if I said. "Say cheese!" the claymore then...

WotC - Bullet Points Under the Skin

I think whistling for something to happen should be allowed, but its a niose not a voice command. And I am sure there are nioses what might be useful instead of just saying something. So restricting voice only for this seems to be too much for me.

WotC - Bullet Points Under the Skin

Hum whats the difference between voice and sound activated? Surely a voice is a sound! but more defined. See BP 2 and 4.

[Nexus] Ideas to remove the static save

In developing the Nexus system I have been slowly removing some of the you get this for that class level. Thus forcing the player to take a mix if they want an even type PC. I am know looking at removing the save bonus assigned for levels. So the check would be still Mind Resolve (Old Will)...

    Best Modern Game System

Might get some loaded answers :D , like from me ;) I agree and made my own..... Nexus allows you to design what you want, as there is only the 6 basic classes and some specialised classes. No cross class skills lists All feats accessible by all classes (thus that strong rogue type is...

    [Nexus] Run as a skill

I have another thought about this. maybe a combo of: base move is set by ((Str mod + Con mod + Dex mod) +10) You also get run as a skill but instead of a DC all the time, a base boost for every 5th level in the skill adds +1m. If you want to push yourself then a DC is set, depending on the...

    [Nexus] Run as a skill

future has some many skills that reducing some makes sense as even for the base game as is this allows for more skills for the players. The "run" skill is not really a run skill but a movement skill, for running or flying or swimming. It allows for more movement instead of just the normal x...

    [Nexus] Run as a skill

hide and silent move are not that strong that they can not be combined into a stealth skill which uses the two of them any way. If you are going to move around as a thief type then you need them both, and the use of two skill points to do that is for 1 too many. same with spot and listen really...

    [Nexus] Run as a skill

might be an idea and the carry seems like a good idea as well, as a better trained lifter is better than maybe a stronger one. What do you think of the skill so far? Combined skills Nexus is very skill heavy, as I have added more than the base for most systems, so counter that I have already...

    [Nexus] Run as a skill

Run as a skill I am trying for a way to allow creatures to increase their base movement, and to include run as a skill. Run This allows a creature to move faster than its standard Move Action during a single round. This is used for any movement, such as running, swimming or flying in one...
