    Why all players but no DMs?

    Same here. Too much work, not enough reward. It's a lot of fun to play though. Whenever I get the opportunity to play, I take it (even knowing sooner or later the DM is bound to crash).

    My problem with both versions of Oriental Adventures has always been this: I could have already ran something oriental with just the core. In both books, the only items I ever found constantly useful were the monsters.

    Don't forget the Dungeon adventure "The Razing of Redshore", which is supposed to bridge the gap between non-epic and epic level; there's also tie-in articles further detailing the organizations/powers presented in that adventure in the corresponding Dragon issue devoted to epic level play.

    One player has problems with character deaths....

    Tough. If he can't handle character death, then he shouldn't be gaming at all. Right now, I am in a very brutal M&M game and I found the actuality of death made my character's survival much more awarding.
