As a playtester, the reason it doesn't do that is because it's a pretty broad save bonus that comes reasonably early on a base class that's already on the upper end of the power scale. I imagine that if/when WotC gets around to publishing 5e psionics Keith will shift more attention to Sarlona...

I wouldn't expect one, but ExE doesn't really cover the non-Dhakaani goblins so I could see Keith talking about them at some point. However, that place may end up being his blog.

I'd also point out there's items like the Ring of Resistance that allow you to adventure. It's a hoop you have to jump through - but so is most exploration stuff, like having water in a desert or warmth in a tundra. I actually think ExE provides a much more solid base for interesting exploration...

The "get both" gap is only $5. The team discounted the PDF+POD heavily on the PDF end because they wanted to recognize that COVID is going to take forever
