On the subreddit Keith said the book is "a month away", which I assume is because writing isn't done yet - final editing, layout, and proofing (because this is POD!) Will take time.

Keith says DDO isn't canon, just like his novels. I don't think there's ever been an explicit WotC statement on the matter, but the design guideline for Eberron for at least the last decade has been No official timeline advancement Only WotC sourcebooks are canon - not adventures, not novels...

It's the cost of WOTC allowing you to sell content with their IP. Eberron creators really don't have another option.

Oh, not sure if you're trying to be an AL group but the mechanics in ExE won't be AL legal.

If everything goes smoothly from here on out you'd be able to get the pdf in time, but I wouldn't plan on it. Still, unless you're starting at third level, you'd probably be able to get the book by your second or third session (assuming weekly sessions).

The tweet that had this cover mock up said "Soon", but from the discord they don't have the full book in layout yet. Once the book gets to layout they can get proofs, then it depends on if the first round of proofs are good to go or not.

Unfortunately this is a dmsguild product so there's no preorders.
