My highest PC is a Wizard7/Arcane Devotee5/Loremaster3, i.e. 15th. We play appr. every third week and have played for a bit more than 3 years. In the campaign I DM they are 10th-11th level after 68 sessions. We play for 4-4,5 hours each time, so I guess it's something like 300-350 hours. .Ziggy

My 6th level party (6 PCs) have 862 gold, 17 silver and 6 copper in cash. They have items worth a total 144.144 GP, thus they are a bit richer than the norm for D&D. OTOH about one third of that are two specific items (one is a greater hemet og underwater action, the other a magical trap box)...

I definitely prefer this mechanic. I played it as unhealable damage, because it had not happened yet. PC's interpretation makes it a bit more in line with the basic system, something I really like. It's to late to change it now, but I'll remember it next time I use it (I just love this item)...
