I would be interested. After seeing LXG, i am very interested in the Steampunk genre.

If i was a DM, i would let Magic&Technology interact normally. Meaning that gunpowder would not weaken magic and vice versa. I never liked the whole gunpowder weakens magic thing.

Its kinda funny, because i used to hate the idea of gunpowder in D&D. Now im quite fond of the idea. But im also growing tired of the Pseudo Medieval setting and Tolkienic influences in the game.

I think it would be kinda fun to play in a setting where you have magic, but you also have a decent amount of tech. In battles you would have a Ranger with his +4 Composite Longbow, next to a guy with a Plasma Rifle. Odd i know, but it would be interesting.

I think it would be cool to have an entire kingdom that used Technology instead of magic. It would be fun place to visit as PCs.:)

How many people here use gunpowder in your games? The game i am in doesnt. My DM thinks it ruins the "Fantasy" feel of the game.

What if a Cleric or Druid takes it and uses it ond Flame Strike , or Fire Storm . Both those spells have Divine damage which nothing can resist, change fire energy to sonic energy, and you have a pretty deadly spell.

I believe WOTC said they didnt, but if you are the DM. You can always Rule 0 it, so that they can.:D
