    No multiclassing penalties?

We removed them. Instead of a penalty, races get an extra skill point when they take levels in their favored class. It's worked well so far.

    I HATE the term GISH

    There's always 'walking target'. ;)

What's the problem with bringing PCs back from the dead?

Resurrection is, yes. Usually at some great cost or via divine intervention. Resurrection at every major church available with a donation of x coins, not so much.

Weapons doing greater damage to Large Sized Creatures...why?

And this was told to me by a gun person whise shot both people and animals (military man who likes to hunt).

    Dealing with powergamers

This gets my vote. We have a layer who likes to take advantage of all options. I ended up declaring 'if I don't own the book, it's not available for the campaign'. Also, take time you can to get familiar with whatever rules you do allow. I've been surprised with creative interpretations. The...

    Converting WH40K to d20...

Not looking to play it as d20. My 'nids army is doing better than expected. I'm just trying to get an idea of overall power levels.

Weapons doing greater damage to Large Sized Creatures...why?

Think of it the same way bullets are made. Hunters going after deer can use standard bullets because said bullet will be going through (at least) a foot or so muscle, tissue, etc. The shock of the bullet going through that much flesh helps add to the lethality. Using anything else is overkill...

    Converting WH40K to d20...

Might help, but from what I understand it isn't d20.

    Converting WH40K to d20...

I'm not wanting to convert it for play reasons. I'm trying to get an idea of power levels, so I'm looking to convert it to a system I have some understanding of. New to WH40K and all... Your basic human has 3's across the board, with the exception of wounds and saves. Space Marines have 4's...

Any way to get precision based damage > 30 feet.?

We've been using modified iaijutsu rolls (OA) for snipers. Same basic mechanic; has to be a surprise round (just keep making that Hide check), opponent has to be flat-footed. Roll the skill before the attack. 10-14 gives a +1d6, with the progression increasing 1d6 every 5 (maxes at 9d6). You are...

Toughness - How many hit points to make it worthwhile?

Arcana Unearthed/Evolved has a feat that allows you to double your con bonus to hp for the level you take it. Their Warmain gains it at 1st level. Might be a worth while toughness replacement.

    PrC for a Fighter/Thief

I love the Tunnel Fighter (a dwarven PrC) for this aspect. You specialize in close quarters from fighting in subterrainian environs, well enough that if you back your opponent into a corner they're considered flanked. The higher the level in the PrC, the fewer walls you need (3, then 2, finally...

    Dumbest/funniest deaths

Not so much a kill as a KO... I was running a Shadowrun game for some new players in Hawaii (stationed in MCBH). After finally finding the BBEG at a corporate shindig, the party is getting frustrated. They finally have this guy, and he's getting away! The leader decides 'I have rope! I'll...

Is there a pattern to monster class layouts?

What the title says. I'm specifically looking at the Dragons for Dragon Magazine, but if there's a pattern for all the monsters so much the better. We have a dragon in the party, and the plan is to see if we can get into epic levels. I need to extend the dragon monster class for this. Thanks...

Is RAISE DEAD (etc.) too readily available in most D&D campaigns?

I should have too. It was supposed to be a joke. :)

    Adding Incarnum to a campaign

You could have them specialize in the PrC's that use incarnum, but not soulmelds. I believe there was two for fighter types and one for the rogue.

    Most broken prestige classes?

Depends on the setting. ANy place special, or are you using the basic layout.

Is RAISE DEAD (etc.) too readily available in most D&D campaigns?

Not sure that last counts as a resurrection. More like create undead or some type of possession. Book wise, Endemion and Rise of Endemion use it as a means of space travel. High g's during travel crush you, and a small organic cross reconstitues you. Then again, the books Hyperion and Fall of...

Is RAISE DEAD (etc.) too readily available in most D&D campaigns?

Wasn't my intention to tell y'all what's what. I have no problem with others using raise, or manipulating it if another DM makes it available. Just reacted badly to criticism.

    Adding Incarnum to a campaign

How far is a little bit? Just a personal question. IMC there's a location where Incarnum is a base for all magic. Magic Item is concidered a type of reincarnation, etc. Might be fun to add this.
