    Most Often Used Skill?

Spot during the game, diplomacy in between adventures. All other characters go to the leader for his 'sales' contacts.

"Traps & Treachery" - Used it?

The discreet companion makes for a good antagonist. A bit similar to Mal's wife in Fire Fly... :)

    Looking for a particular picture...

It's an anime style picture. It has a girl holding a huge gun with the caption 'WEAPON SIZING: So I take a -4 to hit. Big Deal!'. (I'm paraphrasing, but it's close). I saw it as part of a You tube music/anime remix video. I love it, but I haven't been able to find another version. Has anyone...

    Better with dip..

I get the impression that 3.0 was supposed to work like this originally. Have a concept you want to play? Multiclass into it. It's nice to see this, as opposed to an increasing number of PrC's and base classes.

How can I walk softly and carry a BIG sword?

Anyone here have a link to a picture about this? It has a blonde girl holding a giant gun, done in anime style? The caption reads 'So I take a -4 to hit. Big Deal!' (or something similar).

    Suggested XP progression for NPC's...

Thanks again for your responses. :) Urbanen: I'll use this. Might have to scale it a bit for my campaign, but it's a great start. Kudos.

    Damage for Metal Quarterstaff?

The same, I believe. Clubs do the same whether they're made out of wood or steel.

Does anyone still play Dragon Star?

Just be careful with the spellware. No limit as to how much you can carry, other party members can't steal it. Some folks would be willing to sacrifice the exp to abuse this.

    Suggested XP progression for NPC's...

My players are getting more involved in the story, so I need a consistent progression for the NPC's. What's a good estimate for their progression? Would they gain exp per year, for example? Thanks in advance. :)

    Which weapon is better?

Keep the rifle for your character, Hire a lackey and give them the repeater. Let said lackey give you some cover fire, even if it isn't likley to hit.

    Guns as a touch attack?

Maybe make it a -4 to hit, but make the damage open ended?

    Your favourite non-core spells?

Can't remember the name off-hand, but dragon magazine had a spell that wreathed the target in lightning. It did damage each round unless the target willing gave up their saving throw against a charm the spell would convert itself to. :]

Does anyone still play Dragon Star?

Thanks!! Tries to make the Legionaire ability open to everyone. :)

Does anyone still play Dragon Star?

My homebrew PrC's. I have a derro Pilot/Cleric of Luck play-testing the Witch Ace. He's done well so far.: Dwarven Navigator Only a dwarf is reliable enough to get you anywhere you want to go, no matter the distance… Alignment: Any Hit Die: d6 Skill Points: 4 + (Int Modifier) per level...

Does anyone still play Dragon Star?

I'm getting the same PM message. It's probably for paying supporters. Here are my house rules. They're a hodge podge of rules, either made up by me or incorporated from other sources. They're there to help add to the flavor I'm after, not for any failings in the system (although piloting can...

Does anyone still play Dragon Star?

I'll try. No guarantees though. I'm about as computer literate as the local rock. Iaijutsu is in Oriental Adventures. I didn't like that snipers had to get within 30 ft to snipe, so I converted the skill over to ranged weapons. WOrked out well so far. IK = Iron Kingdoms. Their magic item...

    Gestalt Characters and BO9S

Sorcerer/clerics have both spell lists, and recover each classes respective spells via the class description. I'd imagine it works the same for Bo9S classes.

Does anyone still play Dragon Star?

Been playing a 2 year campaign so far. Created 5 PrC's for the setting: Dwarven Starfighter, Dwarven Navigator, Dwraven Smuggler, Power Armor Specialist, and the Witch Ace. Elves use living ships, with druids operating them as sacred groves (OGL sourcebook). They use the fey armor rules in...

    Spirits you DON'T drink

There are some that would believe it is. :) The shaman's handbook (out BEFORE the complete divine. I'm sensing a pattern here...) has elementals, outsiders, and incorporeal undead as spirits.

    Sniper PrCs?

3.0 Deepwoods Sniper wasn't errated. It should still be usable. Other than that D&D isn't really geared towards snipers. There are some interesting house rules though. I'd also recommend second world simulations Crossbow Master. It's a third party source, but it seems to be what you're after...
