    Sorcerer - Class or Theme?

Have they specifically said they would be classes or just available from the start?

    Sorcerer - Class or Theme?

This is really what I hope they do. Four generic classes that you can plug into any style of play, and books of themes/subclasses/kits that you can use to emulate each edition's style.

Interesting homebrew mechanics to add to my campaign

I saw this on RPG.net earlier this month but I can't find it anymore: A universal skill system. Everybody gets five skills they choose regardless of class and are trained in them. The skills your race gets bonuses in are mandatory skill choices for that race, but otherwise go nuts. I haven't...

    Upset about another edition!

I really hope WotC announces a 6E a few years down the road just so the 5E fans get a taste of the "lol wotc won't come into your house and steal ur books lololol" train that every old edition gets. :hmm: It's never been funny guys, and it really sucks when it's pulled out. Can we please stow...

    Sorcerer - Class or Theme?

I think the Warlock and Warlord should definitely be themes. They both have prominent features (leadership, oaths/pacts with supernatural critters) that grow over time and are better served as additional dressing rather than the whol e salad.

D&D 5E (2014) Has 5E Restored or Diminished Your Faith in WotC?

Yeah. Luckily I have an competitive alternative to 5E from the getgo so I don't really need to worry if 5E is for me or not. I <3 Pathfinder as much as I did 4E.

    Adventures You'd Like Produced

A huge ass Xen'Drik sandbox would be awesome for us Eberron fans.

D&D 5E (2014) Has 5E Restored or Diminished Your Faith in WotC?

Listen. I know most of you don't share this opinion but as a 4E fan I'm feeling particularly rubbed raw by WotC. Not only have they ripped off the tablecloth from underneath me by shelving 4E but they have also made me and players like me the butt of many snide jokes and comparisons since the...

    D&D 5E (2014) Should 5E have Healing Surges?

Yes it should. The game is better with them at least as an option.

    D&D 5E (2014) Another Critical Hits 5E Report

The snipe at 4E was poorly worded.

D&D 5E (2014) Has 5E Restored or Diminished Your Faith in WotC?

Diminished. They didn't learn from the total failure that was 4E launch and are doing it all over again. Alienating fans, zipping their lips on the details, not reaching out to internet fans, etc.

How would you advance Class, Race, and Themes?

Race and Class should be kept as basic as possible. There should be lots of themes/kits that you can customfit into the campaign setting that you like.

    No Elf and Dwarf classes

The Dwarf has hung out with elves long enough that he has gained their trust and has adapted his fighting style to their own.

    Timmy, Johnny, Spike, and Vorthos

Let's just hope that this edition doesn't have it's own Jace the Mind sculptor or Stoneforge Mystics. *Notes Tom Lapille moved to D&D R&D* Well this edition is screwed.

D&D 4E A thought on WotC's imperative to continue to digitally support 4e.

Yeah DDI is a pretty big part of 4E. A huge chunk of material and errata would be missing without it. Plus the monster builder is such a god send. It makes 4E adventure design, which is much better than most previous editions, so much better. Losing DDI would be a much bigger hit than previous...

Designating All Daily Attack Powers as [Reliable]

Just get rid of the reliable keyword and make every daily have a miss effect.

A sacred cow to slay: starting at 1st level

They need to make the game interesting, fun, and dynamic to play from first level on. Around third level versatility in 4E would be the perfect starting point for me. That's when all of the characters get their extra encounter and aren't all 'Okay...Encounter power used....use daily? y/n y is...

D&D 4E A thought on WotC's imperative to continue to digitally support 4e.

Hey people said that about 3.5 too. Guess how that turned out? If WotC isn't going to show us any loyalty, why should we show it to WotC? It's condescending and patronizing comments that led to the rift between Pathfinder and 4E fans in the first place. So please if you feel like making comments...

After DDXP, how are you feeling about D&En?

There are one or two things I'm interested in. The rest don't pique my interest at best or actively repulse me at worst. I chose "meh"

If we got a guarantee from three separate WotC employees that there will be at least a decade in between 5E and the next edition.
