D&D 5E (2014) Paladin just committed murder - what should happen next?

Of course you’re right. Evil does not have meaning in 5e but only because of moral relativism. (Which I disagree with strongly.)

D&D 5E (2014) Paladin just committed murder - what should happen next?

There is the assumption here that it was fight and die or surrender the injured to a hungry dragon. Why not use that charisma instead of being an ironclad oaf? The life was not yours to give. Did the character not have rations? Was the dragon in imminent danger of starvation? I propose name...

D&D 5E (2014) Paladin just committed murder - what should happen next?

If I were a cosmic being and one of my paladins did that, I would...inform him that you cannot have two masters. Choose the dragon or choose me.

D&D General Vampire native earth question

I thought it was just soil from the vampire’s homeland. Soil that was trod by the vampire when it was mortal.

    D&D 5E (2014) Your 5E Hypothetical Variant

Well, I would push for certain things but I doubt that it would be successful. With that out of the way. *I would have built it for ten levels not twenty. *Fortitude, reflex and will would be the saves. *Spells would get nerfed though. No more codzilla. *Rename or eliminate feats. Not sure...

    D&D 5E (2014) I am thinking of eliminating reactions.

Because I can do this when we aren’t at the table but dragons have to be managed during the game.

    D&D 5E (2014) I am thinking of eliminating reactions.

I do have infinite dragons. I would rather not have to reach into that bag or do the accounting.

    D&D 5E (2014) I am thinking of eliminating reactions.

I guess you meant negative opinion. I have never seen a level 20 fighter. I did just finish a high level campaign with level 20 characters. I have this opinion because actions “off turn” throw my table into a shambles. 50-100% of the damage they do!? Now that must be hyperbole or players...

    D&D 5E (2014) I am thinking of eliminating reactions.

Haha it is already tracked publicly. When I say I’ve tried a lot I mean it. Outside your turn actions muddy the water for our whole table.

    D&D 5E (2014) I am thinking of eliminating reactions.

We are right now between campaigns so I fugured now is the time to figure out what we are doing and how.

    D&D 5E (2014) I am thinking of eliminating reactions.

When I say I want to keep counterspell I have been misunderstood. I want to keep the ability to prevent a spell. I do not want it to be a reaction. I want it to be an action. As for the other abilities like uncanny dodge I would be looking for suitable replacements sans interruption. Tracking...

    D&D 5E (2014) I am thinking of eliminating reactions.

They are all literal interruptions. I am not afraid of dumping a rule I think is trash even if it means more work. Everyone gets a turn sounds fair doesn’t it. Counter spell isn’t problematic I consider it good which is why I wanted to keep it.

    D&D 5E (2014) I am thinking of eliminating reactions.

Reactions/AoO’s and readied actions all seem to contribute to interrupting the flow of a round. This interruption is creating confusion about who’s turn is next. This sometimes means people miss a turn even when paying attention. I haven’t liked AoO’s since third edition because they are...

Child abuse in regards to Dungeons and Dragons IRL, how should such things be handled.

That was tl,dr but what I did read wasn’t abuse. Odd that someone is so late to the satanic panic. I grew up listening to that devil music ( Iron Maiden and such) and rolling the heathen dice. My parents drug me to church until I moved out. Then I didn’t go to church voluntarily until my late...

D&D General Should a low level character know to burn a troll?

This isn’t a problem of knowing or not knowing. The problem is availability and efficacy. In earlier editions trolls had this problem and slower regeneration. Players had extremely limited resources to get fire. IE no cantrips and fewer spells per day. Last but not least the spells that do fire...

.5mm to .7mm usually but mine are .9mm.
